After watching this I would claim that REO was probably playing at 50-60% strenth right now...maybe it is online or maybe he is holding back for the real deal...but something is up lol

REO MMH is scary, but it I am sure NEC will be beyond horrifying....

I really hope people are ready for the next 6 months of this game. Get used to it

Nice games from REO and Noobe. He should utilize more throw and d3 setups after a blocked MB Venom though, not just d1xxES. I have seen half of the 1st video so far though, but thats my 2 cents. Also Noobe, stop getting hit by MMH's traitxx3 at the beginning of the round . DD cannot do anything to stop him from using that.

Also what dave said about DD is what i have been saying for almost 2 months now. Once people learn to defend themselves against DD, he cant do much afterwards. Hope this video proves that DD is not as godlike and powerful as people make him to be. If people still cannot block ES its their problem, not DD being godlike.

As for a MU number imo its 5-5 with both sides having a 6-4 possibility. Time will tell.

Its fine, probably even a bit better then on consoles. Althou not a lot of people to play atm coz game was released only in USA - for the rest of the world - 29 november. Also the PC version is the best one imo (including PS4).

I swear reo watches videos of my sparring partner and just improves on what he is doing. This is basically the MMH that Ermacio plays with the fundamentals of Reo, plus his own tech, and that is fricken awesome. I mean this as a compliment to both Reo and G4S Ermacio

It looks exactly the same as PS4 version (i have both) maybe even a bit better but loading time is way shorter and game feel more responsible + it doesn't have that PS4 d+2 shackles (Sinestro) bug.

how is the PC online?

Man I really don't know, my hope was to use it on laptop when out of town but when I bought my laptop in march I opted NOT for a 3d graphics card but everything else because I don't play video games outside of MK/INJ and didn't see NRS making PC ports.

Now the game has changed and I'm stuck with an awesome laptop that's unable to play the ports however my PC at home is pretty ballin so I will test it tonight and let you know

You should seriously watch how the game plays on my laptop lol, it's around 4fps

Something I never understood about why MMH players say DD is a bad matchup: What is DD gonna do about a MB Orb protecting MMH? Seriously, the character's strength is extreme horizontal control and up close pressure. MB Orb shuts down dashing in, and evens out the pressure game with frame advantage. I mean, I get the line of reasoning here (MMH is a setup character, Doomsday supposedly craps all over someone trying to set up things), but this is not Lex or Sinestro or Zod. When MMH wants to set something up, it just is. No 30+ frames of animation before it comes out. It's like BAM Wall, Zoning for free for 2 seconds, build up half the bar you spent + chip.

He hasnt been playing him as much recently, I am sure he will come back to him since he thinks MMH is best now... but I think he is fully willing to admit (as well as I) that we are pretty trash at this game. We are starting to practice like we did in mk9 ( playing 100 games at a time just grinding until we get better) so we will see how it goes, but I'd love for him to play you so he fight me better haha.

How do you blow up Martian Manhunter's teleport? Walk forward? Dash forward? MB b+3? Fool, please. The teleport is very difficult to react to when used properly.

These games proved if you know how to block earth shaker 80% of the time, the character struggles to do any meaningful damage, as I have said a thousand times.

i never let a single teleport go unpunished when i have meter online, the teleport is just one thing to look for, its startup is easily recognisable.

i think that people will get better at reacting to it as the game evolves

Man, MMH is great, definietly top 3 maybe even the best but hes not a new Kabal. Kabal didnt have even MUs while MMH has more then ten.

Maaan, I'm not sure any of those are real 5-5's. They felt like it at times because those characters were able to compete with him, and didn't do as bad as others, but I wouldn't say they genuinely went even. Plus, up until EVO 2013, everyone and their mother swore that Cyrax-Kabal was a 3-7 match-up (DJT had to play out of his mind to win that match-up, and even then, it was a case of him outplaying the player. Not the match-up being even. Though it's definitely not 3-7).

I'll only speak for Lao, since he was my main. He does better than most against Kabal, but he doesn't win that match-up. If Kabal has meter (which is always), Lao can't use any of his mobility tools. Ex dash blows up everything (including whiffed Jk/DK). Plus, Cat's back dash + standing 4 punish of tele 3 really was a game changer in that match-up (see REO vs. PL at EVO this year). It's 6-4 Kabal IMO. FOREVER KING agrees, by the way.

Anyway, I'm sure nobody's interested in talking MK match-up numbers...
