Venom's purpose is to close the distance and get in. Once your in you have way to many safe normals at your disposal to take the risk and get venom punished. What are you finding so difficult about characters with parries?
Maybe its cuz Ive always played as zoners and Im not used to get in on ppl I was always the one that keeps them outnoone reads venom, venom is punishable on reaction, you need to be able to get in by yourself and not just rely on one move

Well you just need to mix it up. People must respect MB venom since now especially I think it has 2 hits of armour. That allows you to dash in for free and Doomsday has a great forward dash. By mixing it up, your opponent will be less hesitant to do MB b+3. Once they throw it out less often, you then can MB venom more. As for characters with parries. lets say I fight good batman or zod or joker or kf . They zone me , and read when I do MB venom to get it and parry it. When I was fighting m2daves zod or qwarks Joker they did it all the time .

The cross up itself can be blocked by simply holding down. This is because the 2nd hit of MB Upward Venom is considered Mid which of course we all know can be blocked by holding down. If the move is blocked entirely the opponenthas enough time to do a full combo punish =}
Meter in DD game should be used for MB Shoulder and MB Earth Shake for full corner combos

Yw dude! =)Ha ! Thanks for that Nevan I appreciate that. For DD Frame Traps there's really nothing much except for D1 after 123 string. you can mixup D1 ES, D1 Throw, D1 Delayed ES
There is also a throw frame trap that I've been using is B1 to Throw
I stand by what I saidBut let's use the following scenario: (op in the corner) after a d1 xx ES > cross up with jd3 - using 22 1+2 to put them back into the corner is a bad ideia?
