Was AE Yang busted? I know I heard a lot of hype about AE Yun but I never heard anything about Yang until after the patch where people said he wasn't that good. (assuming I have their names right, I never really got into SF after 4.

Yun was Top Tier & mad easy, people thought Yang was good but worse but as people played more they found more & more stuff that made Yang better, he was just harder than Yun who was EZPZ at the time.

I guess that makes sense, though Honeybee was saying no one has won as Flash and Vanilla Sagat (and I think Akuma) have wins under their belt don't they? Or was Akuma not until Super where Infiltration came in.

I do agree with your stance though that wins/timespan don't make for a busted character so much as the character him/herself, since Bane hasn't won a non-canadian major and he is pretty janked up. Or I assume that was your point. Its a bit hard to tell since English is a learned language to me.

I wasn't even on TYM during that time so regardless of whether or not its true, I'm not one of them. Anyways, this arguing was obviously pointless lol. I'm done.

MK1 is the best MK period.

113 is uninterrupted and is plus 4 on block and cannot be teched

Standing 2 plus 7 on hit

F2 and b12 are now plus 7 on hit

Cyborg can now cancel special moves outside of dashing (Flash RMS stance)

His trait when canceled with a special move allows him to gain health outside of trait stance

Gh armor last more frames on start up 2 hits of armor and dmg will be halved upon getting hit when its used.

Faster start up on sonic disrupter

Faster recovery on his special cancels

Target acquired: faster release of missiles when they leave cyborg.
Increase TA dmg from 5.00 to 9.00.

Add MB version to target acquired with original missile release speed but are now unblockable/homing and does original dmg 5.00. Also can use standard TA upon activation.

why does flash need to be toned down in the same game that Batgrill, MMH Aquaman and Zod exist in? its not like flash dominates characters. flash has 1-2 7-3's and the rest are 5-5 or 6-4 flash favor and its only because of his overall design, hit damage set play rushdown anti zoning character, all the changes you listed wouldn't do jack shit honestly at the end of the day his oki game is top tier, his corner game i top tier, his damage with trait is top tier and his anti zoning tools are really good.

Mainly referring to other here in America back int he Vanillia days, IIRC Sagat really didn't win all that much, their were very few Akuma or Gen players at the time & that's when Akuma was MEGA busted. St. RH loops, dizzy combos, high damage, you name it he had it. Even after Akuma was widely known to be busted & one of if not the strongest characters he still wasn't used or winning much. Same with Cammy, Guile, Honda, Bison ETC during the Super days. And yeah it wasn't till Infiltration really came up that Akuma started winning shit.

The argument doesn't work because a character being REALLY good/the best/broken/stupid is independent of results. Theirs a whole host of factors behind why Flash doesn't place well such as most of the Flash players being bad/Not super exceptional & not enough people playing him. Lets face it theirs really only one dedicated Flash main worth a damn *Honeybee*, a couple alright ones, & the second best player doesn't main him *MIT*.

On @Zyphox point about why Flash would need to be nerfed if another patch ever came out in a game with characters like Batgirl, Zod, Aqua, MMH it's this: Flash is currently a debatable Top 5 character with some stupid stuff that would still need to be adjusted, stronger characters existing does not mean characters like him should avoid adjustments.

Honestly, in hindsight, I don't even really remember why the 3 Super characters were even considered top tier. I do remember Super Cammy and Super Fei being pretty dumb, though.

Also, Super Rose had the best Ultra in the series' history.
