how are you guys dealing with acidic alien ? - annoying af
Stay on him as best you can. It's a very contrast heavy slobber knocker matchup to me, Face wants in and Alien wants you out. It's one I definitely want to work on because I feel like as time goes on it's going to become a go-to counterpick since Alien's fast enough to eat through armor. It's honestly probably easier to go Pretty Lady and trade saws with bug spray, but it isn't hopeless for Killer.

Don't know if this is know but here is a 55% 2 bars and 64% 2 1/2 bars.

How do you get the last f12 to land? It misses for me everytime. I don't get it. Tried it 100 times and didn't get it once. I'm inputting the f12 early, late and I mashed it and still no luck.

Anyone else getting this combo? I love the combo and I want to get it down, but that last f12 just barely whiffs as the opponent is falling.

You have to hit the first f12 into up saw at the perfect height for the second f12 to connect.

Ok I'll try and time it differently. Sucks because I love this combo, but I feel like it won't be viable because I don't think anyone will consistently hit it.

So just a PSA, you shouldnt always do f12 Bs1 as a true blockstring. If you slightly delay the 1 after BS you will beat backdashing, pokes, and jumps. Only option would then be to armor. This creates an extra mind game and gives you extra opportunities to fish for bs1 confirms.

If you're quick on reaction you can pretty much always hit them when they make a move.

I recommend delaying the 1 on F12xxBS1 everytime you use it, as practice. The hit stun is long enough that you can wait quite a few frames before hitting 1 and still connect. The opponent will spin around after the F12xxBS, and you should wait until they're almost all the way back around to hit 1; aim for their belly-button.

Getting in this habit will help in catching pokes and other non-armored moves. If they don't react you can always cancel the BS, or nail them with BS2 if they're crouch blocking.

Practicing against the AI is pretty effective for this technique as it reads your inputs on Hard and Very Hard. When it detects no input it will attempt a move, and you can hit 1 and interrupt it. Real people are less predictable, obviously, but it helps train the reflexes.

BS1 comes out so fast, and beats just about everything, it is one of the more frustrating moves to counter when it is used like this.

In a way it puts Leatherface at an advantage even when he's successfully blocked. Playing with the timing is relatively easy, and one of the most damaging things you can do.

Another fun thing to do is charge in with BS1 and cancel right before you get to them, then fire up BS1 again immediately. They think they've got a free shot and you nail them.

I've had epic stare downs of me just holding the Berserker Stance for like 3 whole seconds as my opponent just blocks and does nothing.

Also if you're paused for long enough, you can forego the BS4 cancel and just cancel with 3, which is his fastest cancel.

Never even thought to try just using 3 after a long stand-off.

This cancel tech is getting to be really fun. At first I was concerned about Killer's slow moves and lack of Kombos, but the more I see of the stance options and cancels the more I can appreciate the flexibility of this variation.

I am loving this character. His combos are so fun and satisfying. But most everything I've come up with has been on my own is there a place where people are talking more about his combos.

So far I have a 32% no bar punish from f1and then a myriad of 40+ combos for 1 bar

Yea, he is amazing. Pretty much all his combos are out there. Look on tym and YouTube and you'll find everything.

Anyone had a chance to try the BS4 ender for combos with the new patch? It won't link off F2 I know, but how about a run in F3 or 4? I don't remember the frame data, and things may have changed.

Any ideas on how to utilize BS4 now? If it doesn't link it seems rather useless as a quick poke would always be the best answer when you see it coming.

The F2 into BS4 still confirms even after the update.
I tested it a plethora of times in practice made.
There's no way to jump or poke out of it, even with the fastest pokes in the game.
I feel like I'm cheating whenever I do it online.

I remember being able to poke out of it with a very fast poke, but I could have been setting up the practice run with a bit of a gap. It was very inconsistent at any rate, and not a safe option as it would have to be absolutely frame perfect.

All the nerf did was make the Armor and Backdash defenses a little more forgiving with their timing; most people still can't/don't defend against it properly.

Addin the other ending options, like the BS2 restand, and the BS4cancel mix-up, and Killer has a surprising amount of options for such a limited moveset.

F2~BS4 is very consistent. I was referring to the poke-out test being inconsistent.

Every once in awhile I'll miss the F2~BS4, but it is usually because I try to hit the F2 before Face recovers fully from the Sparks animation.

Are BS cancels supposed to be very negative on block? I tried doing BS343 against Kitana set to reversal throat slash and I never ever got to block.
