Oh, the fart reset, good stuff, i was playing around it with quite a while too.

This tech is good, but..:
this will work fine until opponent learns match-up, because:
1) he can simply block low and punish;
2) if you set AI to jump and do combo which ends ~->dd3->roll and then try to throw, AI will be in the air already.. I tested it today..

i love this variation but if i could just get a couple wishes it would be my forever main.

1) dd3 as a wakeup just like off of b4. he never stands up he just goes into stance. dd3 > keg roll to escape corner and wakeup setups, dd3> 2/3 for launcher wakeups. He could still get hit by mids and lows just like normal but now he has a really sneaky escape plan. ( if you are feeling generous make him able to go into stance from headbutt and from chug)

2) Puke, or ex puke, or even maybe just lvl 3 puke should reset the puke timer. This one should have been obvious, but it doesnt increase or decrease levels it just lets him extend the buzz a bit in an easily accessable and offensive way. To me this is for getting pressured and trying to survive. Its a fast move that will give you a couple extra seconds to work with.

Having a lot of trouble on block with dm feels like he is useless on block without a drink, literally every string except 11, 12, and b12 is negitive enough to be punished by reptiles slide, how does one overcome this terrible block pressure with no zoning whatsoever and punishable footsies?

Feels like db2 should be completely safe on block considering it leads to nothing.

I thought of a new strategy for our Drunken Master. I noticed monkey flips (db3) gives a hard knockdown, but it's still scary to drink all the time immediately after hitting the opponent with a db3. If they have a wake up teleport or wake up forward advancing wakeup, it can punish Bo Rai Cho. Or simply even runnning and starting pressure as soon they stand up off ground, they can force you to block some nonsense after you drink.

But I noticed EX dd4 OTG's, and you can cancel EX dd4 into drink. So after I mix my opponent up with like 24~db3 or 244~db3, I do the EX dd4 canceled into drink to OTG my opponent while at the same time resetting my drunk timer. You can OTG into drink off any knockdown if you feel like you're going puke soon, it costs of a bar of meter but I'd rather spend a bar than puke and eat a full combo!

Its like you really know how to drink!!! Wait, does Bo Rai Cho have his shoes? Or did Shinnok steal them?

I love the idea of OTG into drink. I find that If I'm not close enough to them though I may struggle to touch them again before the timer runs out. I Prefer to only drink when my next combo may lead to a killing, set play, momentum like approach.

Lets say they have 60% health left and I can land a combo...I may end in bump and dump so I can be in their face with a few drinks (from the combo and from the BnD) then my next mixups could kill and the OTG might be the last thing I go for.

I can't stop thinking about drinking too early in the match leads to puking early. If only df2 negated all drinks to put you back at 0 drinks and stopped your cool down.

Crazy Legs from B233 is guaranteed they cannot jump that, so they will have to block, but i can delay crazy legs to reset the combo as well, which is why i decided to tech roll
The opponent cannot jump while on Hitstun so they will have to block crazy legs most of the time since it breaks armor, when you condition them to do that, you can roll into F3, or B32~meditate.
If they jump up you can punish with Njp into 12~fart and take a drink, and if they jump forward fartpedo will hit or you can choose to take a drink.
once they start doubting themselfeves your other options will already be available even on the first restand if you already have a level 1 drink, so F21~meditate~3, rc, 12~fart drink (lvl2), B233~meditate (crazy legs is guaranteed no point in jumping) you keg roll behind them and use ex df1 or ex db1 into drink, if they mash anything df1 has armor and breaks armor and allows you to drink afterwards, db1 has armor and will blow them up for damage and allows for a drink afterwards, its not rocket science.
I'm still playing around with it honestly.

Watch this set up.
Anyone got 1 bar ex fart combos yet? Just a way to convert off his strings since you can't combo any of his strings into regular fart. I neee help with a consistent ender into another drink /:

Edit: Nvm i just remembered he gets his df1 after 2 drinks and it's pretty consistent in a juggle [:

What are your guys main strings for bnbs I've been using b12 but it doesn't seem 2 be working it has no gaps and is only minus 4
On a jump in I use 341 since the mix up catches everyone at the moment. In the neutral I use 121, 11, F1, B12, F2 as they are all safe. B233 in a bit of footsies. F3/B3 on oki.

I'm having alot of fun with Drunken Master. I think he's really complex. I'm trying to make him work, but the drawback of puking is so scary.

By the way for any of you guys that wanted to watch the tournament tomorrow, it starts at 4PM I believe and the link is twitch.tv/ceogaming

I'm going to rep our guy the whole way through, if I lose really badly to somebody though I might switch to Kotal
