Hey guys, i think i figured out how drunken master works, it will require some strong discipline but it can be done, i gotta say two days ago the feeling was that he is much more complicated than that.
I was getting blown up a lot even by zoners because i was saving farts for restand, and could hardly move or do combos with his slow strings, i figure it today, don't save your farts for restands, you really don't need them, ex fart is your best friend drunk or not and will prevent a lot of hangovers. So the goal of Drunken Master is to be able to continuously fight without having to vomit, you will have to exchange damage over drinking pretty often for this to happen.
But he is indeed strong if he happens to be at level 1 of drunk already, and level 2 onwards your game plan becomes much more simple.
Apep punches (f1) is an 8f mid which is IMO the best normal of Bo', is safe is fast and is special cancelable, it will probably be your main tool to get out of pressure and once drunk at any level will allow you to do other things.
F1 (full hits) last hit can be canceled into drinking, which gives you more 10 seconds to use freely and finally allows you to start your offense.
F1 (3 hits) ex fart, will allow you to extend your combos, remember that you don't need to save for fart restands, the goal is to keep drinking, so unless you catch someone with it while your drunk timing is nearly 3 seconds, you can cancel into dd3 for another combo, but to play safe i always recomend canceling into fart for a drink, and then do a damaging string into a damaging ender canceling into a drink.
Every time you hit someone with a fart, it doesn't really matter how and where, always take a sip of your drink to buy you more 10 seconds to do your bnbs, since Bo has very damaging finishers with db2 and ex db2, db3 and db1 with 1 level of drunk, i recommend to always finish your combos with specials that will later on cancel itself on his drinking, when this happens you will never get to hang over state it doesn't matter how many times they try to put you there.
When you get to level 2 and 3, your df1 and db1 becomes so damaging that your goal will always be canceling them for a drink, this way you get to freely move after your combos, and apply your pressure and mixup game more often and right on the 10 seconds window.
Anyone not respecting when he is drunk even at level 1, will have to deal with ex bf3 and dd3 games. If you hit someone with x bf3 ex fart and take a drink, if you avoid pressure with the rolls of dd3, always grab them into drinking.
If you get an NJP while nearly 4 seconds left to vomit, grab then into drink, or fart into drinking.
Master F3 bb cancels, it will help to save stamina to get in.
Once drunk, you get to control the neutral more with dd3 rolls and bf3, just control the panic of ppl to worried to get caught into dd4, because if connects you get a free drink.
this is the game plan, now into getting more games, i shall post some Bo's footage this sunday when i get the hang of him more, i need to to see those dd3 rolls baits and mind games get around them and give me time for more drinks.
