Valle was absolutely eating it up. They don't just condone this behavior, they encourage it. I also have always been a big fan of Alex, but this all seemed very childish, especially when coming from a dude over 40.

LTG started this nonsense with all the personal attacks, so I feel that calling LTG the "black DSP" isn't really racist. He compared him to another shitty player who became e-famous for just being a dick and insulting people while using every excuse in the book.

Viscant had every right to be douchey after the match. People like LTG need to be humbled now and then. He deserves zero respect when he gives none in turn. This applies to anyone who behaves the way he does.

You kinda have to show respect to someone as a player after they body you. As far as I'm concerned Viscant had no obligation to show respect to LTG as a player since he just beat him at a game he doesn't even practice. The racist comment was out of line though, for sure.

EDIT: LTG said Viscant's character is for people with low IQ, that Viscant played very lame and he's a "decent" player (as backhanded a compliment as it gets). Hardly giving credit.

This was kinda dumb, felt forced and overly dramatic. I know it was "real", but it felt like an online scrub match in real life. Even though a lot of people are hating on LTG, Viscant could have handled this waay better as well.

Grudge matches and rivalries are awesome. Dick measuring contests are not.

Can we talk about K-Brads Facial Expression's throughout the entire thing. They were priceless. When LTG said Charge characters are easy mode basically his face was great. And he did the LTG Pose. That shit was hilarious. It was a good set though. Viscant adapted so well in the matches. LTG cracked under the pressure.

I think LTG was doing to much to be honest. The story behind this set is probably what turned a lot of people off. It was entertaining though. But for his first exclusive money match against a top marvel player he did fairly well. Just another case of someone who's inexperienced in these kinds of situations getting shut down by someone who's been doing this for years. It was a great way for him to learn his place.

He wasn't calling LTG black, what kind of stupidly obvious statement would that be? He called him the "black" DSP where he had no need to, he could have just compared him to DSP in terms of skill level, no need to involve his race.

Yeah because two wrongs make a right. Viscant's an EVO champ, he should know he's better at fighting games in general anyway, he has no need to act the way he did. LTG can go off all he wants, but if Viscant wants to be the bigger man he could have just walked away after the fight and not been so arrogant about it. He could have at least recognised that LTG did better than everyone thought he would do the way LTG did, but instead he chose to make excuses like "I played like trash". It was a ft10 and there were 16 games, he had plenty of time to adapt. And look at the quote above, LTG recognised his abilities as a player.

Meh you could just option select with "I'm not used to these monitors" or "I just didn't play my best today" or whatever, too many people do it nowadays :| He had no obligation but since LTG managed to only lose 6-10 to a 2-time EVO champion rather than 0-10 like people probably expected he was probably due at least a little credit... Racist comments are so white people it's unbelievable :DOGE

people sleep on viscant. people forget the fact regardless of whether or not he just had the team of the day the evo when he won, he still performs very well in a game that his execution isn't nearly at the level most people have at high level play. overall, he displayed that he is able to adapt to things stupidly fast and figure out matchups on the fly (see blanka vs rolento when he basically figured it all out in the course of a few games). i feel like he is the kind of player that is always a few steps ahead of his opponent, but he kinda has stupid fingers. if his hands worked at the same rate as his mind he would definitely be scary in whatever game he touches. i also thought it was funny how the little scrawny nerd kinda bitched around the buff guy at the end. overall it was kinda OD but im happy that jay was able to say things to LTG's face and that he's not a bitch. i can always respect that.

I think that LTG saying the things he said about the Meth thing really his Viscant hard. If what he said was true about helping people in his free time it makes sense why he acted the way he did. Im not saying he should have but if someone hits me close to home/my personal life im probably going to snap back at you even if you had no idea. It goes to show be careful with your words because words can have such a big impact.
