I like him. I think in MK11, it would make sense for him to be around because he's pretty much Raiden's only friend now. Seeing interactions between him and Dark Raiden would be interesting. I also played him a ton in MKX.

That was disappointing. If they got rid of those kind of things I wouldn't mind seeing him again, but if NRS insists with keeping that humor he is better of gone.

But the farting and the puking are his character. Otherwise he's just another drunken master guy.

I fail to see why disemboweling, eating brains and ripping out spines is not disgusting, but farting and puking is disgusting.

Is it because of the humor in farts? But that's the point. Bo'Rai Cho is the funny character, but in the Mortal Kombat style (which means he's also gross).

And he's also far more than the comedy relief. MKX gave him a personality that's also serious.

I honestly don't see why people wouldn't want him back and prefer yet another cool edgy ninja.

I don't think they did a good job in translating what I liked about him from the 3D to MKX.
I he does comeback thought I have hopes after seeing Jade and Kabal that he will use his Bo a lot more to suplement his drunken/fart style.

I think Bo Rai Cho in MKX was well done. He wasn't as fat as he was during the 3D era, his design and gameplay looked good and they toned down the farting compared to MKDA and MKD, it was on another level in those games lol!

Puking has always been his thing alongside his Drunken Fist and Bo stick.

I was probably one of the few people that thought he was a cool character even in the 3D era.

I also agree with Lun with the fact that they did give Bo Rai Cho a serious side in MKX. He was comical with certain characters but was serious with others even to the point of insulting them. Like I said NRS got him right in MKX. The perfect balance.

I would not mind this character be more like Gouku and Gen from streetfighter, not some beer drinking farting joke.

Farts are always funny. And I'm pretty sure he's not drinking beer if he's lighting it on fire.

I don't really get the hate for his gimmick. People love Johnny punching people in the nuts, but farting is stupid? It's just physical humour.

johnny has also had way more time to develop as a character and become funny in other ways, why not extend the courtesy to other characters?

No matter how much you show the fart humor of Bo Rai Cow, it will never get more funny, and it never will make me laugh, Johnny is funny on multiple levels, not with only one thing, like Bo’s farts and puke childish humor.

Johnny wasn't really funny for anything other than nut punching until MK9 actually created a cohesive story to place him in and then continued to elaborate on his character since he gets to be a major player across multiple titles. BRC has only appeared as DLC in the new universe and hasn't had a chance to make an impact through character or really be fleshed out since his return in MKX was more of just a basic "revive this old character people liked." If he appears in later titles he'll definitely be more 3-dimensional.

I hate Bo'Rai Cho, to me it's nothing more than a 3D era mistake. Yet I'm not against characters having a second chance in the "reboot" of the series.

When I first saw him in the story, I was like "Oh no please..." but he seemed okay here. The audience that didn't know him from the 3D era could have raised an eyebrow, like "Who is this fat dude ? Why does Raiden refers him as "Master Bo'Rai Cho" ? Wait he's a master in martial arts ?". But if you already knew the character, you would say "Oh no he's gonna fart and puke" and then after his scenes you would think that his new design as a normal kombattant fitted him well.

But then he was released in the Kombat Pack 2... I was so disappointed when I saw his gameplay. I'm not against the "drunken fighter" concept, I actually think that's a cool idea. But his farting and puking is just too dumb for me. I honestly think he's the worst character in MKX, even if we also have Leatherface in the kast. The Kombat pack 2 was a huge disappointement maybe except for Triborg, because he was really fun and a welcome addition to the roster. I didn't like the other characters at all.

There's at least twenty other characters I would rather have than Bo Rai Cho. Raiden has plenty of allies with Sonya, Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Johnny etc to have tension with now that he has a more aggressive, hostile stance. I would gladly take Fujin, Sareena etc instead. He is in the category of characters a loud minority asks for and nobody plays.
