Running will single handedly kill zoning and the best thing about injustice was the variety of playstyles. I say to hell with running, make people commit to dashes if they want to move forward quickly
Plenty of games have running with viable zoning zzzz

Agree with everything, but i do feel they could have 50/50s BUT, they must be unsafe completely. NO exceptions.
At least have one option be unsafe or have an option to be safe but with low damage. I feel like this would be an obvious thing to do but with NRS, we actually need to make comments like this.

Oh i forgot included to
Flash and Profesor Zoom with fastest high, mid combostarters, fast strings, fast pokes and fastest movement but ofc balanced.
Lobo being top tier but ofc balanced.
Shazam being top tier but ofc balanced.
Batman being a bad match up for superman, batgirl and all females.
Simillar mechanic like to MKX block button e.t.c. fast movement backward, better bacdash, dash for everyone but pls no variation system, no run button, and no more unblockable interractables and maybe thats all.

one request though, as much as i like the bat family, please don't pad the roster out with batman characters.........i'll take red hood though....priorities
I agree. No more than 4-5 for the initial roster at least. Depending on how many DLC characters there are, I'll be fine with about two more afterwards.

The problem is though, the majority of the general audience mostly only know stuff from Batman. So they'll even suggest characters like Two-Face, Riddler and even Mad Hatter over non Batman related characters. They'll have trouble suggesting characters from other series, so they'll pick the characters that they know out of the sake of familiarity, even if they're not really fighting game material compared to other non Batman characters.

It might work in iher games but injustice zoning was all based on people having to commit to a full dash and not being able to move forward and then cancel into block. Thats just how injustice zoning is designed and it should stay that way

I wouldn't put much stock into it. Yes Disney just said they were getting out of making games and going with licensing their stuff again, but that was way too recent a decision to mean anything. Yes, Marvel was seen hanging out at WB over games, but this was a Lego thing in all likelihood.

I gotta say though if it ever happened the salt from the Marvel vs Capcom crowd would be GLORIOUS. It'd brine the internet lol
Could you just imagine? However, Deathstroke vs. Deadpool would be pretty sick.

I always thought that the variations system COULD work in Injustice IF they did it with superhero families. I know it wouldn't happen but imagine if Superman has a Supergirl and Superboy variations. You get three heroes for the price of one. Like MKX they could keep basic combos and specials but each variation still has it's own unique strings and specials. Stupid, but it'd mean we get more characters.
Aquaman, Mera, Aqualad
Wonder Woman, Donna Troy, and Wonder Girl or even Big Barda could work there
Batman, Robin, Nightwing

Wouldn't work in a million years but it's still fun to think about.
Anyways, All I want is a GL skin pack so I can play as Guy Gardner

I really hope IGAU 2 and mkx stay their own games. Injustice was a good game IMO, just a few things that need fixed like unblockable interacts, GRAB IMMUNITY, bugs where interacts would do more damage depending on where you are when you get hit, inescapable otg setups, earth shake, etc. I don't want to see variations come into play with injustice. Injustice is already its own unique game with traits, as it should stay this way.

Whoooooa there, buddy. I agree with all of the above except Earth Shake. If Doomsday is in Injustice 2, he best have his Earth Shake. >=O

Doomsday was the most balanced character in the game, he shouldnt change at all really

Ill take eating 2% and a knockdown for fucking up blocking that hard to blockable that has the same timing everytime over a looping full combo vortex starting hard to blockable mkx style

That's wrong. Rashid and Ken can run in SFV and a competent Dhalsim can still zone them. Same with KOF XIII, Athena could zone a lot of chars and all of them have running mechanics (even Bala himself was zoned).

A command run for a few characters is different than being able to run and cancel the run at any moment like mkx. Ken and rashid cannot stop their run half way through either they have to commit to the whole run. Its not the running that is an issue its not having to commit to your forward movement

As a raven main I can assure you doomsday was not balanced

And what about my KOFXIII example? The point is NRS can make the game close, faster, and more engaging without ruining zoning. Other companies have accomplished that, again just look to athena or look at Peacock from Skullgirls. People were afraid from interactables when they heard it will be added to MKX, but you know what? They ended being better than in IGAU. I know we can not rely much on NRS competence but they proved us wrong before. IGAU movement was awful, you could read complain after complain of this from different communities, except for the few hardcore fans on this site. I think a change of pace would be very welcome and would bring more players than those who would leave.

The game felt close and engaging enough when you pick certain characters, other characters were able to slow the pace down, thats the beauty of injustice. The pacing was perfect to me because it was different for every match up. I acfually like being patient sometimes instead of going 1000 miles an hour 24/7 like mkx

Why does injustice have to try and mimic features or try to match the pace of other games to be a good game? It had its own unique pace and i loved it and want that part to stay the same. The game will also sell well regardless because its going to be out the same year as the justice league movie and the cross promotion everywhere, have a real netcode from the start, and look and sound good as usual
