General/Other - Tremor Tremor General Discussion Thread

Where there is smoke, there is cancer.
His db1 (I think) is pretty cool when you cancel it in pressure. Not sure of the frame data or how to accurately get the numbers for what it is on block.

Tremor to me seems REALLY terrible. He has to work way too hard for damage, his setups are all really gimmicky and he has no truly safe pressure. I feel like his frame data is all kinds of fucked up.

I think Crystalline will be the best for straight zoning. The Krystallization allows him to negate any errors he makes in zoning. They run past rock drop? No worries, not combo for them. They jump over ground pulse? Eat my blocking bro.

Whilst Metallic Gold stance allows for a more versatile projectile in db1, the possibility of getting blown up on a wrong read sucks. Crystalline has the 13% intractable projectile which is boss.
Krystallization has mad potential and its one of the things I'm gonna test first for Crystalline. I think you can maybe run at people with it on and be very scary. Or let go of block while your opponent starts a string so that the Krystallization absorbs its hitstun and you (maybe?) get a full combo punish. Just some other ideas, I agree it seems like a great supplement to his zoning.

Oh and if you cancel a string into the EX rock first thing then dash cancel it the armour stays active through the dash and when the opponent tries to hit you, you can obviously absorb the hit then start a combo. It's great bait.

lol i guess, but his damage is great nontheless, his f121 is +2 on block, and f12 can compensate for a starting string in a combo, or pressure. good to me.

I tested this vs lao's b321 string. I was able to block the b3, take the hit of 2 and interrupted the 1 with tremors f1. Takes practice but man is it awesome to turn the tides like that :p

Wonderchef predicting Tremor is the worst character in the game. This is awesome. If Dave and Pig start saying he sucks, we gonna get them buffs for sure.
He is abysmal. One of his fireballs starts up in 40 frames while his only overhead attack starts up in 30+ frames, which, by the way, is not even safe on block. LOL. Tossing the boulder in Crystalline also glitches and overlaps with real stage interactable objects. I will elaborate more soon.

@Pig Of The Hut , do not waste your time. Even Kenshi is better. LOL.

When I saw the frame data on his f2, I almost shat myself. When I used his f2 and saw how slow it started up, I had hopes that maybe it was safe on block to make up for its horrendous startup. Nope. It's pretty effin' punishable.

it's hilariously bad. with moves like tremor's f2 it makes you wonder wtf was NRS thinking.

Official Infrared Scorp wid gapless Wi-Fi pressure
Wow I didn't think it was possible, but NRS managed to make a character more boring than Balanced Kenshi!

Just joking btw guys :p

Because no-one's more boring than Balanced Kenshi

All too easy...
I assume the people saying Tremor has no pressure havent even looked into DB1 cancels yet. Im testing it out now and it makes his unsafe strings all safe. Gives him plenty of meter to build off of safe block strings that he can then use for unscaled and unbreakable EX ground pound damage or armor. Sorry hes not prepatch Tanya dumb and hes going to require a little effort to play as

Yeah. In the trailer he comes in all swelled up with the big lats and traps like he owns the freaking place and we get a projectile set up heavy character. I wanted an in your face brawler that hit like a truck.

His special start up frames are pretty bad and leave gaps in block pressure. Hopefully the gets adjusted but probably reaching here

I've been using B2's and standing 1's for anti-air and its been working.

For normal jump ins, use B2. For deep and cross up, use standing 1.

Back 2 you can combo after if it doesn't trade. Standing 1 will usually trade.

Obviously, you have to be very careful if they have a divekick.
