Tom Brady's and REO's Early Injustice: GAU Tier List

People mentioning Cyborg's placement without the infinite, his replacement can't be done right now since Cyborg's toolset as a whole contains the infinite (and to my knowledge is not banned).

Tier lists are taking all the characters' tools and comparing them as if players were utilizing all the characters' tools at the highest possible level.

As it stands, Cyborg is S+ tier. We'll have to wait for NRS to see if Cyborg moves.

I interpret this tier list to be more about a character's tools and less about good and bad match ups. No one can possibly know all the intricacies about a character's match ups this early in the game's life span. Grundy, for example, has very good tools (i.e., great movement, best defensive tool in the game, high damage output, solid AA game, versatile trait, etc.) but certain characters like Superman and Hawkgirl are holding him back.

Also, Cyborg's position without the block infinite combo is hard to predict and will be determined by the patch. However, even if you are unable to do perfect instant aerial nova blasters, he is arguably the best zoning character in the game. You cannot do full forward dashes like you can versus Deathstroke and Sinestro. Cyborg does not seem to be as versatile as Deathstroke, and Sinestro has poor wake up moves.

Very nice list from my perspective, although I highly doubt this Cyborg thing will hold up. NRS HATES block infinites (see Kabal).

Im surprised at how high WW is though, but then again, I just know very little about her.

I think Raven needs to be a littler higher, putting her in the same tier as Hawkgirl is a bit disturbing to me. Raven has 40% + combos off of a 7 frame attack,almost full screen frame traps, a teleport, full screen combo starter (trait), great jumping 2, a 13 frame string that puts her at +6 on block and leads to 40% damage on hit, above average corner pressure, good meter building, has a very easy time getting in on zoners. She lacks legit mixups and anti airs. But she's got everything else.

Even though I think it's too early and that any tier list, including this one, can't be accurate, I think a list made by REO and Tom Brady is at least one people could get a general idea of how characters are compared to each other because of their experience with the game and notoriety.

I think Green Lantern and Deathstroke should switch places and that Ares should move up, but w/e.
I hope Tom Brady and REO are still keeping in contact with Paulo for rebalancing. There could be lots of improvements done to many characters, but there is hardly anything that really needs nerfing and I think they understand that.

It's crazy how slept on GL is by alot of people. They feel like they have to go in and B13 all day but in all honesty he could keep you mid range for the majority of the match safely if he wanted to. He has amazing oki game on knockdowns and honestly in my eyes has no bad matchups. Most underrated: GL//Most Overrated: Batman+Deathstroke

Personally I would put Green Lantern just above Black Adam.

GL has great normals, zoning, mixups, air mobility and AA lift. He's just super solid all around and afaik doesn't seem to have a single bad matchup. On the other hand Black Adam definitely has weaknesses and a bunch of bad matchups. So I'm not sure I understand how a more well-rounded character can be considered worse.

Staff stance alone is a problem for a lot of characters it seems.
