I've been desperate for Cheetah experience lately, so anyone who's committed and comfortable with her, I'd love to run sets with. My PSN is EMPR_Theo
See if you weren't too Hollywood for me, you'd know I would have you covered for two obscure match ups: Cheetah and Blue Beetle lol. I'm focused on them only so I can help.

are there other shaders that are hidden because I dont see any that change the eye color but ive seen several eye color changes.
The God and Demon shaders are the ones that change the eye colors. Those are applied for every character and were perks for getting the Ultimate Edition if I recall, I dunno if you can get them in game by earning source crystals or not though.

How do you all feel about ending midscreen combos with db1 instead of dbf1? It looks like anytime you db1, you get a free Blood Lunge that jails on wakeup. So either way you're oki game is good, but now they're almost certainly very near to the corner.

Delayed wakeup could mess with you if you always do that, right? You could also react with an invincible wakeup. It would only put the enemy in the corner if your back is towards it too.

Does anyone know how many additional frames a delayed wake up is? Also, how many frames is cheetah's forward dash?

Oki in this game is weird and our characters main strength will be mastering it. I have an idea.

11, B2, D3 are my go to strings in the neutral. I assume these are proper?

Just figured out that mb.Blood Lunge is guaranteed after her f23(throw) standing reset. The timing is very tight (I've only gotten it to work once against a neutral-jumping AI) but even if you mess up the timing, it will still hit if they don't jump or back-dash.

I also use Forward 2, 3 for the following reasons: no gaps, first hit can break armor while pressuring and is neutral on block. On hit, you can do the throw that gives you a plus enough restand to guarantee forward 3. The string is also only minus four as a whole and you can cancel into pounce mind games. I also like standing 2 since it's nine frames with great range and only minus 2. I like back 1, 1, down 3 as well since you can condition your opponent to block low to set up low grab off of it and back 1,1 and the down 3 part are all safe on block.

Or are you doing b11 stagger low throw?

I am picking her. Been meddling with her over the last couple days after I used her in multiverse and really liked what she had to offer. Just trying to put everything together.

It doesn't tick on hit or block. Must be staggering.

Whats everyone's goto punish starter? 112 is fastest but even with bar you can't get much off it. D2 has less range and is slower but you get throws involved.
Meterless, you're pretty limited. However, if you're willing to spend 2 bars, 112~mb.f3-j3-112~dbf1: 481 damage.

If they are negative enough, f23(throw) is always going to be a good option.

D3 is also always an option for that hkd and setups.

D3 is my panic option because I don't know how negative they are this early in the game. You get a setup but I need an optimized punish that I'm still looking for.
