How about b1, any use for it?

b+1, Hook Charge is the bees knees. Its tough on alternate controls, but you get it down and the oki is strong. They have to block low, then high extremely fast.

I been messing around with lobo for a few days, I love how he feels.
I will probably end up keeping him.
I tried lobo when he came out, but back them my fighting game skills were garbage. I have come a long way, am ready for the main man. is so nice to have a 28% whiff punish.

I don't know if I already posted it here, but that setups are working fine for me, of course that's not a reset and the opponent can escape... But works for me almost 90%...
Instead dash and ji2, you can dash and do the B2U1 too...

Anyone else using B1 as a mix up? Like B1~Charge and B1~Low Pump Shot, your opponent has to guess since they're both quick and they have great oki distance.


After they're conditioned to block low, you can start using 21~ mixups etc. mind games everywhere.

I would do, but I find cancelling into a special off a b1 is frickin' hard. My fingers do not work at that speed.

It's worth practicing since I still assume you're still plus on block. If all fails, just continue with B12, and B1~charge. Then start going to 21~Special

Lobo has to have one of the best damage out going in the game, abit trolley but can really save a game, 4 bars and Trait combo

Nice. On alternate controls, I tap b+1 quickly, then roll the stick from up/back around to forward (My execution works best if I can do it in one fluid motion).

Good shit, but with that Batgirl meter less vortex, theres no true counter, unless you're Aquaman =P

1:16:40 , One guy arrived late when the tournament already started, we tried to organize him into the bracket and we ended up doing a rock paper scissors best of 3 to see who fights him (Which I only lost due to a mix of Laggy Monitors, Broken Controllers, and Xbox/PS3/PC/Sega Genesis Lagg). We eventually decided to cut him from the brackets all together since he was too late :/
1:31:00 , Was my second game, I was salty about our last match, so I was in this to win it. He resorts to zoning me with GL most of the time, so I just played patient and chipped him out with the MB PUMP.
1:49:50 , I'm sent into losers by a Flash, I tried going to Bane since I think it's a much better matchup. I have to stop picking other characters I don't main thinking it'll make a difference :/
2:49:00 , I beat a Shazam player, I have a lot of experience fighting Shazam. I don't think he's a bad matchup at all.
2:54:00 , I refight the GL player from earlier, He loves his minigun, in another match the guy commentating counted how many times he did minigun in a match (2 if it MB). Fortunately Lobo's green projectile is much better.
3:10:38 , Losers Finals, I used Doomsday for the first 2 games and I highly regret it, I did beat him one round with Lobo. I hate Batgirl.

Did a lot better at this tournament, I usually place 7th at the monthlies

Recently won a local primarily using Lobo. I beat a GL, a Bane, a Superman with Lobo.
But in fighting a scorpion in the Grand Finals I switched to Doomsday, so can't say I won the whole thing with the main man.
When I beat the superman player I did Lobo's win pose IRL, wish they streamed so I could show. I also stomped the ground when I did the MB Low chain, I get really into it sometimes, even in casuals.

I know Bounce cancels aren't really that useful, but would you guys say burning it on a b12 combo for 53% with trait worth it? Or is the risk of missing and blowing that meter to much?

... It's annoying that you have to spend to bars to get large damage off of a low starter, but I mean, 2 bars for 55%?
That's not bad, not bad at all.
