In Zoning We Trust
So disgusted at what the patch did to Sektor. Left the other Borg's Uber strong, all types of dirty dirt, but nerfed Sektor heavily. Why? Because he is a zoner and they don't want strong zoning in this game. Need proof? Look at the buffs Jason, Warrior Pred, etc got. Then look at how Balanced Kenshi, Cyber Kano, etc is treated.

I'm not gonna post shit about certain things I found until i know 100% patching is done, and I suggest you all do the same. The anti-zoning agenda isn't just some cool thing to say, it's a legit 100% real issue that they are applying to this game. Be careful sharing too much publicly until things are confirmed finalized.

Saddened about Sektor, but not really shocked.

It was pretty clear what they wanted out of MKX, so Sektor was never going to live : (

Really unfortunate if those are final changes. Was really looking forward to zoning with Sektor.

For the record, I'm in no way saying Sektor is trash. Just that he is a "decent appearing character" where as before he was clearly gonna be a top character, not the best (not even the best Borg). But Top Tier zoning with good "get off" moves isn't allowed in MKX, unless we count Kitana and I call bias influence on that one. A full compliment of tools however is only allowed for rushdown characters.

Be careful sharing zoning tech that is strong until patches are confirmed dead, because unlike Johnny being +15 for free, they will never yiur zoning tech.

I put in about 8-10 hours on Sektor alone, all for nothing. But rushdown and mixup Borgs stayed elite level.

When you play Johnny or Liu or Takeda you can say your character is Top 5 and be left as is.

If you say your zoning character is potentially Top Tier you will, not might, will, be nerfed heavily. Not sharing a single thing I found publicly until NRS officially moved on.

To be fair lasher takeda IS a zoner, just not in the traditional sense. Instead of using projectiles to keep you out, I use my long reaching whips to keep you out
