I'm a shoe gazer :)
Black people listen to shoe gaze?! I thought that was reserved for suburban white kids who drank too much robotussin. :-X

Fun fact: I listened to MBV, Slowdive, Cocteau Twins, and the likes for almost two decades before I learned that shoegaze was a genre of music.

I think it might just become a lo-fi night for me.

@ goblin bones: A7X's older shit sounds way different compared to the Nightmare album...........too much screaming and shit for me lol, but i like the music. They got some bad ass riffs!

here's another good tune:
I kinda figured so given the bands that you paired with them in the OP but i thought i would slap them out and show where they got started. :} you can definitely here some of their early influences in the new stuff its just from tighter musicianship, everything is much more on key now I love both old and new. I can say though that after starting with them on those two albums, that when "City of evil" came out i was absolutely shocked. I remember driving up to best by with a friend of mine and we both snagged a copy, got to the car popped it in and were both instantly like "WTF is this????" lol but it definitely grows on you

Well I'm extremely selective about music. Lush and MBV take the cake for me. Depreciation Guild has about three seriously kick ass songs.

Sometimes I tell girls that they are the sweetness and light!

I looove that album. It got me though a lot of coding in college!
This is probably my 2nd fav on the album :) His use of awesome samples is primo.

wow i used to play UFO! tunes back when he was big into DnB. talented DJ as well
UFO! was the shit. Sometimes I miss the simplicity of mid 90s dnb (UFO was post millenium, but he still had that '96 sound).

Back when it was this:
Before it became this:
On the other hand, I also just remembered how much I love Technical Itch.

tech itch/dom and roland are the dons of dark dnb imo. i remember one of the first shows i went to at the solarium in masquerades in ybor. decoder and tech itch. i remember standing in line and watching the windows flexing back and forth from the bass. they played some nasty stuff that night!

also forgot how good this tune is/was

One of the True Pioneers of Industrial and always has been one of my favorites :}

I've been listening to a lot of Project Pitchfork and a little of Imatem lately. I've discovered so much music that I like using youtube and spent so much money on stuff that I hope I dont find anything I like anymore.

Owerbart

I miss you
My favorite latin american band: Soda Stereo
Their signature song: De música ligera (Of light music)
