It's not the Time Span that matters. It's the Present Time period that does.

I really disagree with that. With that mindset, then there is no point of doing well until the end.
I feel in competitive games, when the game is done with. The best should be the ones who had the most accomplishments in the game. Not just the last year.

In addition, even considering the current 2013 trend victories by different teams, they still do not add to the huge amount done by VSM in the last year. The last year should not be disregarded just because 2 or 3 tournaments in 2013 are won by different people.

Furthermore, looking at teams as a whole, VSM has more top players than any scene right now IMO.

Example, Michael Jordan is the best NBA player because of all his accomplishments. By that logic, Kobe and Lebron are better then Jordan.

In a way I agree with you but in another way I don't. Most of the majors VSM won were on the East Koast. Dallas and Anaheim were the two where VSM, GGA, and West Coast (EGP and Vegas) got to clash. If it was the reverse and West Coast had more majors than East and all you guys had was two then you'd see where I'm koming from.

I feel where you are coming from, but then Final round or WB or SCR should really not matter since none of them were super stacked. I could be misinterpreting but it seems that this community is starting to feel VSM is not the best due to these tournaments which did not have this clash of so many different teams. I do feel that west coast should get more majors to be judged but I feel it is not fair to disregard majors in the midwest,south or east. Agree to Disagree on tournaments I guess.

Reading this thread has motivated me to play Injustice to win. I consistently placed top 8 or 9th at majors by playing the game extremely casually/for fun. None of you are prepared for the competition you're going to endure upon the life of Injustice. VSM+Winter Barz will always be #1. I will also be attending school in California to get inside information on the EGP study sessions, and I'm going to travel to gather some information from GGA/ATL/etc study sessions as well. On a side note, Canada is going to be very successful in Injustice. Welcome back, GGA 16 Bit <3

It's not that they shouldn't matter. I just think people need to assess things more before jumping to konclusions. Putting up the title of "Best" is also quite a bold statement to throw out there.

I know how good VSM is. I've played J360, ClaudeVonStroke, CDJr, Maxter, etc. I kan see the level they're at, but putting the title of Best is quite the jump when I believe we have just as good players here that kome to our Redemptions, let alone the numerous other sleepers in other scenes that are ready to break out.

Now back to what else you are saying. Dude, you are jumping to hella conclusions based off of unrelated things. 2013 is young for MK in general cause weve had 3 majors. SCR which is west coast insanely far from NY and which GGA also didnt attend minus Bit. Winter Brawl which only some of VSM was at and where they didnt do as well as normal but didnt do bad by any means. Then you have Final Round, where some of GGA was and they did really well. No VSM was there and even the known hardest hitters of GGA (dizzy and bit) were not there. So going by the last major where almost all of VSM and GGA were (minus dizzy i think) was NEC. GGA had only bit getting 5th and maybe some others making top 16. VSM made up the top 3. REO won all the mlgs before that as well with maxter and Jr always on his tail. We have to wait til something like EVO, the fall classic, or other fully stacked tournaments to really talk about this changing of the guard. I dont doubt that GGA is probly the frontrunner right beside VSM with all other scenes not really challenging either, but you cant say VSM isnt still the best as well.

you're missing the point. 2013 is a fresh start for everyone INCLUDING the guys who played in the past. do you think anyone is going to hold evo 2012 over evo 2013? no. vsm is still good but to say they are undoubtedly the ''best" when they have done nothing in the year 2013 is not justified. vsm lost at wb, vsm lost at final round. but do you know what teams came out on top for majors in 2013? egp and gga. this is not a conversation of who is the best in the life span overall in mk. its about who is the best team NOW

VSM wasnt at FR at all so how did they lose? Just cause we start a new calendar year it doesnt mean anything. Its just a set number of days like anything else. EVO 2012 and 2013 are a full YEAR apart which makes it easy to proclaim that EVO 2013 will definitely be more important than 2012. What you cant seem to grasp is that so far in 2013 VSM really hasnt even had a chance to show that they are still top. Its like saying Khaotik was the worst player at FR cause he registered and just didnt show up when in fact hes really good (3rd at Winter Brawl). EGP showed up at SCR with tyrant winning and thats it. No other EGP was even in top 8 if i remember correctly. Tyrant is just insanely good. GGA had a great showing at FR and they have repeatedly shown that they are great. Im just saying you shouldnt go saying GGA is automatically better than VSM just cause of how 2013 has gone so far because VSM hasnt had a full force showing to give you the ability to really draw that conclusion. If at UFGT both VSM and GGA are in attendance (which shouldnt be very hard considering its chicago) and GGA outplaces VSM and even has many of their own players beating VSM then you could gladly come on here and proclaim GGA the best and i would readily accept it. But at this point without VSM actually doing worse in the tournaments attended by BOTH sets of teams theres no way you can just up and say GGA is the best cause wafflez won FR and VSM didnt, which is absurd cause and please get this part this time. VSM WASNT THERE.

Her stock is up but not by as much as you guys want it to be. She doesn't magically become top because she places well one time. I remain unconvinced.

His stock is slightly up, since you've now done this twice in a row.

I believe he is in "the top 10 conversation", meaning he is in that group with Kitana, Cage, Jax, Reptile, Smoke, Liu Kang. Not sure if he'd be in a top 10 if I somehow had a complete MU chart or right outside it. Either way he's very good.

Also he does not lose to the princess stop the downplaying. Stay hollywood though.
