Lol seriously though I have no idea why they gave her the Demo nerf. Completely uncalled for.Sonya viable? CrawlingShadow may disagree.

I agree that it was uncalled for, but I think it was an overreaction tbh, just like some members in the Sonya forum usually behave anyway. lol She can still reload safely in the corner with the same damage as usual I believe, just reload the grenades in the stun animation of the last stun grenade and you're fine. Regarding the Xray nerf, that was fair because she had no damage scaling after that Xray.Lol seriously though I have no idea why they gave her the Demo nerf. Completely uncalled for.

i don't know if it's because I'm triggered when someone downplays my character, but I only post regularly in the Sonya forums because she's my girl, otherwise, I wouldn't because the atmosphere is pretty toxic to me there, especially in the general thread. I hold back to not insult the Debbie Downers and keep things civil. Believe me, it's a challenge.Yea that Xray was extreme lol.
I'm gonna have to revisit the Sonya threads to see the progress. It looked like the Grim Reaper had hit when I saw it earlier lol.
I rock it because KLK is a legit anime. That's a good avatar.
I've been saying that for years now and yet I don't think people get it. They say they do but what do they do? They instantly complain about some mechanic/tech that appears to be new and instead of taking the time out to actually lab it and find ways to get over it, they instantly complain about it, forcing the character to get nerfed.I rock it because KLK is a legit anime.
anyway yall remember we are gamers first and fighting game players second. I feel the patch era of fighters has not only made us soft and whiny, but suck the fun out of our games.
I been keeping things in general since I think every fighter struggles with this. Granted there are some unique problems for each fighters. Our being able to grow and etc.I've been saying that for years now and yet I don't think people get it. They say they do but what do they do? Real Complaint: Where the hell are the Salty Reports? I need to see PigoftheHut being shamed for his idiotic Kenshi posts as of late and a sad but true recap of the Carl vs SonicFox "set".
This happened to me like 2 months ago, when Tanya was released. So, this patch may have brought that back.My friend and I have been playing together every night. After this patch, everytime we tried to play in a KOTH or something together, we either get session unavailable and/or can't join the same games?? Wtf.. Tried restarting XBOX and Router/modem. Anyone else experince this?
Just something that helps me - you have to be very fast with the first part of the string. If you are cancelling at 2112 then you need to complete that button press by the end of the first 1 animation so that you essentially are (and have time to be) doing the dbf motion from neutral - it comes out for me every time I "feel" neutral before I dial it. If there is overlap with other button presses it still works for me on and off, so it just felt inconsistent until I got this down.Rant / request for help incoming.
I cannot understand wtf is wrong with me as I can't get down command grab cancels for shit (dbf kind of those, Kotal's is fine). No matter what I do it's super unreliable.
Getting dbf grabs from neutral - no problem.
Getting bf or quaters cancels - no problem.
Getting Sun God grab cancels - so problem at all.
What can possibly be wrong with bdf cancels? I can't get Erron ticks, can't properly end Lacey/Ruthless combos... It's really frustrating.
Any idea what's there to know?
If that will help, I use KB, never had ghosting issues, learned to overcome left+right bug NRS refuses to fix, but got busted by this.
Halp.
Welcome to the world of online MKX that we have all been complaining about since the game came out. As you progess through the world of MKX online, you will come to notice a loss of inputs, input delay, loss of frames leading to the appearance that your opponent is somehow falling faster every time you get a juggle, and occasionally frame delay.Does anyone here ever have issues with moves coming out. I can actually hear myself pressing buttons a lot of times but no moves come out on the screen. I've played maybe a couple other fighters where this happens on rare occasions but it seems like it happens a lot more with MKX, especially online. I may have missed someone mentioning this earlier but anyone else having these issues?

Watch as any string you have that is plus on block somehow becomes punishable, and play against randoms who jail you with negative on block strings or manage to hit you with basic mixups as though you just saw it for the first time. Swear you blocked that overhead low? Not on online you didn't!
Prepare to get utterly defeated by a Cryo Sub-Zero who only uses jump kicks and wake up slide. And no matter how many times you specifically bait that -22 on block slide, you will never be able to punish, because somehow -22 is safe for him. After your defeat, prepare to be teabagged until the last possible second, where he will input a fatality in order to waste more of your time.
Mortal Kombat. Who's Next?
NJP works. For me anyway. It's all about the timing.how do i deal with impostor shinnok tele vs grandmaster? this dude just teleported the whole game, i got a few d2s in but most of the times he would just confirm, i tried baiting it with my njp but still, tele would hit first
first time in this game i feel like im about to have a stroke, can anyone help me
Well, the thing is that being, like I said, KB user, I have no problem with the string itself, but why won't grab register even with trivial strings of other characters is beyond me.Just something that helps me - you have to be very fast with the first part of the string. A joystick is really just 4 on/off buttons (in most cases); it's not actually different than a keyboard in the input signal; nor is it different from the action buttons. Just digital 1/0 on/off. I said neutral because that's how I think about it, but in re-reading it maybe it looks like I mean the directions. What I mean, specifically, is that no switch/trigger should be activated prior to starting the d,b,f presses - so if you are pushing front punch from the previous dial while you also being pressing the down, my experience is that it won't come out or will come out inconsistently. So if I pay attention as I dial/type the combo and notice that nothing else was being depressed -at all- when I start the d,b,f then I have no problem. Of course, the dbf+button has to be completed by the time the cancel is supposed to happen, still, so the first part has to be done quicker than it seems like it should.Well, the thing is that being, like I said, KB user, I have no problem with the string itself, but why won't grab register even with trivial strings of other characters is beyond me.
Oh, I should've specified why I was mentioning KB, my point was that since I can use multiple fingers for attacks all the time, dropping it or not inputting it fast enough in order to get command grab in time isn't probably something that troubles me - it looks like you suspect something like thatA joystick is really just 4 on/off buttons (in most cases); it's not actually different than a keyboard in the input signal; nor is it different from the action buttons. At any rate, this is what works for me, sorry if it's no help for you!
