I think you should be able to do his Ground Blade from midair, Instant Air Gas Blasts doesn't build much meter. It should also have less start up from the air.

Give him an input that's is an overhead and special cancelable. And if it's blocked your console turns into a vaccuum cleaner, sucks all of the furniture in the room, shoots them into space, and is +2 on block. Then we might see a kabal or 2 at a slumber party.

Just give Kabal a teleport with follow-ups like Kung Lao that can be cancelled into ndc pressure. The EX version could have super armor, be safe on block, and with 1 frame of start up. Why not? I wouldn't even be mad, because I would be dead inside.

Alright, I have seen people ask to have this character banned.

Community, what the fuck. That is totally ridiculous. Kabal players have to work harder than anyone else to have their character be number 1. You guys need to either stop playing Kano or level up. If you don't want to tough out the bad match up, learn to Kabal or learn to Jax. If you don't like those characters, then learn the match up. That simple. Since when is a 4-6 MU unwinnable? Stick it out and be the better player. That's how you should WANT to win, not by taking away your opponent's favorite character, if you took away Sub Zero I'd shit a brick.

Here is the fundamental divisor; do you think you could beat REO in general? Even if Kabal was toned down, do you guys honestly think that is what would help you win? I guarantee if REO was forced to learn another character he'd still kick all of our asses.

I have thoughts I am not completely sure how to articulate and stay within the rules of this forum. Guys, quit your bitching. He is the best character but he isn't unbeatable. Even the mightiest of the Kabals has fallen in tournament, if that isn't proof enough of his vulnerability, then I don't know what more I can say to you.

How do Kabal players have to work hard? Instant air gas blast for days and then dash cancels that give you advantage. That is not working hard. The only thing taxing about Kabal is the finger pain you experience. To win with him isn't that hard though. Raiden is a character who requires a ton of work to get the job done. You know you've earned a win with Raiden. Another example is Sub Zero (which I'm sure you're fully aware of). Those are tricky characters. Not characters that have every tool in the book to compete and go herpity derp with.

Anyways I agree that people should work on match-ups and stop crying.

Yes, Kabal players just run through everything. All hail Kabal, no work Kabal, so that each and every one of us lowly scrubs can start winning tournaments after 5 minutes in the lab with Kabal.

Fuck it, ban everyone. Mortal Kombat tournaments will now be best of 5 staring contests.

Instant air gas blasts are not hard to do.

His NDC's require good execution, but doesn't he have a NMD infinite? I still believe Skarlet is moderately harder to use than Kabal.

The character needs nerfing, that's a given. I think one of two things would be "fair".

Buzz saw hitting high. This would make his retarded zoning not as retarded, and i'd assume it would stop, stopping stuff like teleports.

Restrict what strings can be NMD cancelled. Everyone keeps saying 2 nmd is a infinite? Well just take the cancel away.

Restrict the amount of air fireballs he can fire.

That's three nerfs, nothing ridiculous, and I think implimenting two of those would be fair for all.

Well what's so hard about him. Execution heavy yes, but he has every tool. I never said it took 5 minutes in the lab but he is easier to get a win with than a Raiden or a Sub Zero for example. Or even modern day Kung Lao.

I personally would reduce the damage done by gas blast and remove armour from EX nomad dash.

This community is at a point where players who are good can beat flow-chart characters with ease. Same goes for Kabal.

Its not Kabal thats broken, just REO. All other Kabal players look human and manageable, but REO makes every matchup 7-3 his favor. Now, this argument could be applied to all characters, sure, but if REO were to play, say, Kung Lao, everyone would complain about his 7 frame standing 2 and f3 and tele 3. Because REO is the face of Kabal everyone is scared shitless of Kabal's potential and they overreact, begging for nerfs and bans and whatnot.

Watch someone else play Kabal and you'll get my point. Most Kabals arent even close to REO's level and they are much easier to fight.
