Awful everyone jerks and wiked mean to people, and nobody actually plays games we just sit around and smoke crackrocks wondering were our childhood went, is TERRIBLE !!!!

lol, Hopefully I can make it to Souper Bowl this coming up Wednesday, If not I guess Ill prolly see everyone at PW again :p
Word got to me that Souperbowl is holding their next tourney on June 12th hope thats right :D I most definitely would like to check it out.

How did I not know about this place sooner? My brother's going to flip next time hes in town, that place is epic, and so is the owner/collector/caretaker/extravaganza for putting it all together.

A couple of questions though...

What does she get out of running fight nights? Publicity, or is there a buy-in fee?

also whats the set up? Didn't look like there was much room for consoles+tv's in that place

Sorry this is late but yeah, that was me. I haven't been out much since that GU tourney cuz of financial and transportation constraints. Also, Springfield (or somewhere near by Springfield) peeps! Let me know when you guys are down for casuals. Due to being unemployed, I have almost all the free time in the world for offline casuals. Just let me know a day that's good for you guys. Gotta get prepped up for ECT!

I'll be heading to GU tonight mostly to play some SSF4 AE. If anyone brings a Mortal Kombat setup (preferably for PS3), I'll definitely be down to play.

What does a setup entail? I can certainly bring my copy of the game, should I bring the PS3 as well?

Yes. A setup entails a console and a copy of the game. I'm already bringing a 360 over so it'd be to cumbersome for me to bring my PS3 as well. If you can bring a PS3 and a PS3 copy of MK9, I'd GREATLY appreciate it. :D

Sorry for the double post but GGs to mcpeanuts yesterday at GU! It's a shame there was such a little showing but hopefully I'll see you and more people at Souper Bowl on Sunday.

Good games, kona! Unfortunately I will not be able to make it to the Souper Bowl this Sunday, as Sunday is Father's Day and I have Father's Day related plans.

I have recently been informed that father's day is actually the 19th, so it turns out I can make it to the Souper Bowl after all. I'll probably need to borrow an xbox controller from someone though.

That's a relief. I can go without worries now! Yeah, I'd need an Xbox 360 controller as well cuz my current controllers are kinda spazzing out and I don't wanna risk it for tournament play. Plus, I can't play on stick. I would actually prefer a PS2 to Xbox 360 converter to borrow! I want this converter but I'm so broke!

I'd consider getting one of these if not for the 7 day delivery. I would need the delivery to be, like, less days than that. Is there a place offline to get these, like does GU have them?

tbh, I don't think GU has them. These converters are from Korea but they supposedly are lagless and I can't stand playing on a 360 pad.
