The strongest voice against Scorpion's ban comes from a guy who can't win in this game at high level with a legit character. REO, Tom Brady, Pig of the Hut, F0xy, etc have all posted extensive and good points as to why this character should be banned.

And who disagrees with them? A bunch of fucking scrub nobodies who say "adapt" and offer no solutions and one mid-level tournament player. The lot of them can just fuck all the way off.

The anti-ban dipshits are just that anyway. No one is suggesting the ban on Scorpion should be permanent. It's just until he's fixed in some fashion... which Ed Boon already said they were going to do. Scorpion will be unbanned when the ilk of dudes like "Scorps-Zero" can no longer win by being completely fucking random.

And just fuck anyone with the balls to say Scorpion is punishable. Though that is one of the funniest things I've heard since George Carlin died.

This is not accurate. Top players have spoken up in defense of Scorpion. Players who have beaten the guys you list.

Comparing the tournament resumes of these players is not how you go about this anyway. Silly.

I think both sides have their own valid argument. Truly I think the reason slips said what he did earlier is because he plays against you, Dizzy, Jeremiah and the rest of the GGA crew.

No need to go over anything now.

Both sides have stated their arguments, I think Wizard will make his final decision at CEO. I just hope PL doesn't sandbag CEO to make scorpion look bad, so that Wizard ends up not banning him, and then PL goes all out at EVO...

Either way, I would be pissed if I lost my main character 3 weeks before EVO. Really hard call on Wizard's part as well.

We will just have to wait and see.

Oh and congrats at MWC, wish i would have went there now, but it was a 10 hour drive for me on like 1 day's notice lol.

Listening to PL protect scorp is like listening to the Devil speak about morale in underwear.

The real problem Scorp presents is that UNLIKE VEGA, hes easy to use as hell. Sure Supes & Bats might be in the same boat of OPness but at least they play by the rules....

I do agree thou. Its a little TOO early to decide whether to ban or not Scorpion, but when People confuse an Injustice tournament for a mortal kombat one , since every single pro player will be using him, then its time to do something...

(I dont even find Scorp Hard TBQH , but then again my Injustice community is different from yours)

PLUS after reading all the posts in this thread, i cant really take seriously people that think that Doomsday is Overpowered and Scorpion needs a damage buff , LOL scrubs....

At the end of the day, the real ''Laziness of the MK community'' is when pro players , that some people look up to,need to use the easiest characters to win tournaments....

Ok people. Go read the 1.05 patch which comes out of the 2nd of July. They hit Scorpion pretty hard. Evo starts on the 12th. Now the real question is will people be able to adjust to the changes in time and will the ban still be justified?
I have a feeling people are going to cry and complain no matter what NRS does.

Well the developers are nerfing him so I guess he is ok for EVO! Even though we haven't played new Scorpion yet and he will most likely still be a huge issue. Whats the point of doing votes if we all agree for him to be banned with votes and then he is allowed anyway MrWizard.

People are still having difficulty with the current Scorpion, do you really think 10 days of a new one is going to help?

And maybe you could try a different attitude since you seem to be stuck on shitty.

I love how people think a -8 MB telederp and a (possibly) fixed j3 "hit Scorpion hard." He's still got you in a completely safe 75/25 guessing game on every jump, and the teleport will still keep you in check for the entire match for a bar and no risk.
