For up ball? Cause it pushes them full screen. I had tested it out and with pop up(or meter with cyber). Up ball and ball make you land at about the same place but ball has more advantage. Meterless grounded combos, up ball puts them 2 steps untill your full screen. While ball is like b2 range. And against kk (especially sg) and tanya i want them as far as possible. Or at least vs this guy cause he was having trouble getting in. Kinda long explanation haha but thats why.

This is true. Although i dont put myself closer into the corner. But i feel it depends on the match up. Vs kk or like jahn i will end in up ball to force them to come in. But vs characters who have weak wake up or want space ill end in ball and dash in and try to bait something out.

I'm looking specifically for cutthroat kano footage. I've been playing him and coming up with my own setups and playstyle but what are others doing?

There are so few CT and mostly Cyber and Commando. I think kano is really really good and I was hoping I'd find more high level footage of him.

I don't if its been fixed. but 2nd hit of EX knives not hitting some crouch blocking characters threw me off the variation(I remember dvorah and scorps).

Not bad...then he switched away from CT to cyber.
