HD looks nice enough, so does blu ray but either way that's not what gaming is about. I was fortunate though to get my Xbox in late 2008 when they fixed the whole RROD thing.
But moving on, I think MK needs more loyal fans that always helps and no drama...drama in general never helps anything.
