At this point, people have just assumed ed boon is making an announcement at every damned tournament. Half the internet is still convinced he promised some EVO announcement and then "cheated" us out of it with a measley pot bonus.Just like when people assumed there was going to be an announcement at evo and there wasn't one, he didn't say the announcement was going to be at any event. I suspect because it's going to be the VSFighting pot bonus announcement. Justin hasn't announced prizes yet and the one for last year came around this time last year
A pot bonus for a tournament would not be something BIG for mkx.
