I'm starting to realize that the size of the character makes a big difference on combos. Against Doomsday a lot of bnbs became way easier and I was able to do this combo which is impossible against some characters:
223, b3, j3, j2, b23 = 36%/39%

Here's a little bit of stuff. There's still lots to add but it's a start.

Damage is listed without j2/with j2.
rb = release bats
cb = call bats

-There are several variations of some combos that all do about the same damage. Pick which one works best for you.
-Combos that don't include b3 are usually better when you're approaching the wall to avoid a stage transition.
-You can call bats in the middle of any combo after b3.
-Batman's unclashable attacks are b3, f3, bats (but not d4), and the last hit of all mb specials except mb straight grapple.
-If you start a combo with bats, the damage may slightly increase or decrease depending on how many bats you used, but overall the damage is basically the same.
-In some combos when you do b23~rb straight grapple, the damage will occasionally increase by 1%. I haven't figured out what causes this yet.

Also here's an idea for anybody to play around with if you want. I think it'll lead to more damage in a lot of combos that use bats...
223, b3, j3~rb, j3, b23 = 39% compared to the normal 38% bnb for that situation.


Since all this work is already done, is it cool I copy and paste this into the original post?

So I can land it off of a 223 into sky graple EX, but for the life of me when i try to b3 after the 223 its just SUPER late even when I try to do as quickly as possible

ji2, 223, j3, 123, b23, trait, df1(mb), b3, b23 = 48% 1 bar of meter = (optimal bnb)
ji2, 223, b3, b23, trait, df1 = 42% no meter
ji2, 223, b3, j2, air sparks = 32% no meter, no trait

been in the lab practicing these all night last night and i got them down pretty good :cool:

What's the technique for landing the b3 after 113. I can't get it unless I whiff the first two hits. basically I have to stand sweep distance to pull it off. How do I do it up close?

that 48% needs bats already active, so it probably won't show up a lot.

yeah it must be active already, thats why at the top is says trait activated bnb's, the last one i posted at the bottom does not require trait as i stated at the end of that one - no trait

looking back i guess i typed it kinda wrong, but where it says "trait" mean firing off the bats that you already had active

my fav combos involve the b3 and then summoning bats because you get that guaranteed extension :D

i have seen people doing those i am going to go back in the lab today and work on some more stuff, B3 into trait is godlike because you don't have to worry about geting hit and losing the trait/combo
i will def be working on those combos too ;)

yeah my basic combo is, Ji2, 223, b3, Call bats, ji2, b23, Release bats, Ex Grappel, ji2, 123 (or 112~batarang since it leaves them standing, or just 22 for the hit stun)

Ending in 123 ends in a knockdown that leaves them next to u so i find that good for obvious reasons.
 
ok, this is probably pretty obvious, but you can actually j.3 after 123

123, j.3, 123, b+23 35% damage

Gotta say, this notation is really awkward for me.

EDIT: After reading this thread:

(Trait already loaded)
123, j.3, 123, b+23, 4(3), df+1 42% damage
b+113, b+2, T, b+3, j.3, b+23 35% damage
b+113, b+23, T, dash, dash, b+2,3 33% damage

These last 2 I think have some potential but I haven't found better than these yet.

I can't quite figure out why the 113 combo does more damage.

Never mind I got it... after an hour of practice I understand the timing... For any1 else whos having trouble with 113 back 3 ... press and release back 3 the second your opponent face plants into the ground... I just got way more dangerous lol

I can't quite figure out why the 113 combo does more damage.
One of them has a whiffed hit in I think, I could be wrong , but I think it is the 223. I think in one of REO's videos he says you can interrupt it because the second 2 is whiffed.

Both strings have a gap. 1()13 and 22()3 I think....correct me if I'm wrong

gap is not the same as an attack wiffing. does 223 wiff on standing block or crouching block only?
Sorry misunderstood. Would have to test it when I get home unless someone else already knows

Whelp just realized Bats Sparks is techable ... making most of the combos I posted obsolete.

However, this isnt bad because now I can use grapples more often to put the opponent in the corner.
