Corner (fake) cross up ji2 is probably a better option any way you slice it.

- Keeps SZ outside the corner, yet hits corner side
- Meterless tech and extra hit builds extra meter
- Catches jump outs
- Ex punch walk auto corrects and fires safely into the corner if wake up is attempted
- Ex telestomp would hit f4 xx frost bomb anyway

What tech is this?

Btw, you can break ex punchwalk without spending meter on punchwalk BUT you won't get a full combo, with clone setup, D4, Slide. D4 low profiles the first hits of punchwalk (and the slide animation will continue from there) so you can cancel into slide without needing the armor from an EX move. You can even use F4-regular clone-D4-Slide if you're trying to bait the ex punchwalk and don't want to spend meter.

Edit: Because D4 into Slide won't combo against non armored moves and you're risking a block on slide (meaning full combo against you) you can also block after connecting D4, it's safe against EX punchwalk (because you low profile the first few hits) and if the wake up wasn't EX punchwalk you have a free 50/50. With practice if you see the punchwalk coming you can hit confirm the slide (there is plenty of time to buffer the slide or opt for a block).

Edit2: Well, it seems like you don't even need to break his armor if you're at "clone setup" distance (even without the clone or closer than that), just Neutral Jump Kick, you will go over him, he will eat 7 damage even if you don't break the armor, and most importantly, as it's a whif instead of a block, you get a free full combo on him (on block punchwalk is safe) plus the extra 7 damage from the kick.

its just a rumour, b2, b2, d1, b12 clone seems to be a little easier on females but its still more height dependent than males and it could just be the better netcode helping

If you guys are doing 2x b2, then I recommend doing : b2,b2,1,1,b12~iceclone, njp, bjip, f12 for 37% works both on female/male characters.

However, against a ducking female character that second b2 will whiff at times.
