Is Vega sat on in s.2 now? Just opening the discussion, I've only looked at his buttons compared to s1, and his buffs seem juicy. More advantage on his normals (with claw), more range on his aa's, Crazy mobility... thoughts?
I think he's being overlooked, but I don't feel like he's secret top tier. His TC and RH still whiff on crouchers, no reversal, he lost his 3fer if I remember correctly. He's VERY meter reliant to get things moving. Unless I misunderstood it, it's gotten more difficult to.usr his Vskill.to get through fireballs without committing to the swipe.. and any anti fireball stuff getting worse in this season is going to be a bastard.. what with the Urien and Guile army's gearing up (I play Guile some and in slowly learning Urien so I'm just as scrubby)
He's still a super good character. I like how he has some combo options in claw stance now too. He has some nice left/right mix-ups for a bar and a good amount of trickery. He's also not played a ton so people don't know the MU. Stun buff off his Vtrigger is super nice.
I feel like Vega is the worst of the good characters, which is still a really good place to be, but then again, I could be wrong and he could end up super good or super mediocre.. last season I started out thinking he was knocking on the door of top tier, but after a while came to realize that he was just sitting in the middle somewhere.
Vega is a weird character in that on paper he has everything, but at least in season 1, that just didn't translate to reality like it should have.
