I checked your profile - it says you are 20yrs old man. Must be realy dumb or troll considering your post history.
That is honestly how old I thought he would be. He reminds me of that kid in the playground that would constantly brag about how strong his dad is and would claim his dad would beat up your dad. Only in this case its someone elses dad.

There's no reason to down on SonicFox. Yes, the FT10 turned into a slaughter, but his run through the tournament solidified that it's basically GO1 vs Fox in terms of domination. Fox was in position to take the tournament from GO1, taking it to 2-2. Just GO1 pulled it out. He still went through the rest of Japan that he came across and went into finals in winners.

Tekken top 8 was dope and I know nothing about that game lol I wanna pick it up or dragonball can't decide
Do you play on pad or stick/hitbox? Tekken, while fun, is tough to play on pad. And bear in mind that combos don't necessarily work like they do in other fighters, I have to play Akuma for this reason (plays more like a SFV character). BUT you and I are different people, you might pick it up better than me. And Noctis is coming out soon+Tekken Bowling hype. And it's worth remembering Soul Calibur VI is coming later this year if you wanted a 3D fighter

DBZF I think has better single player options and is easier to pick up. If you haven't played an anime game before, this would be a great first step into that genre

Lmao it’s killing these Street Fighter players that an NRS player is miles better than them not only in Capcom games but even in Anime!!! Lit
I don't know I think of him as just a really good fighting game player it just so happens NRS is the biggest scene that he dominates so that is what people associate him with. He is just a of big of a part of the SG and the DOA scene, I think at least. He enters a shit ton of games now and does really well and it is cool to see as long as he is never allowed on the mic.

What I was trying to say sounded better in my head.

Tekken I'm starting now because I know it'll be a year before I can compete with how far I'm behind but im fine starting slow. I use pad but thats fine because I just watched two pad players from the US in tekken so I doubt there's a huge difference. Ima pick up dbfz because I hear its easy and I can see if I like it at least. Yo I forgot to play soul cal VI at final round, its the best looking fighter I've seen in terms of visuals.

I'm trying to learn how this game works just by watching and its tough. What was up with Goku Black? Seemed like Sonicfox would achieve nothing with him and would basically have to 2v3 every fight. Was it just a bad match-up?

I don’t play yet either so all apologies if speaking out of turn but I’m p sure Go1’s Adult Gohan and Cell are just that fucking good.

No, it's basically that. I missed his other sets, but Sonic 3-0'd other top players with this team, it's just that GO1 is on another level with a character that the US hasn't jumped on yet. If anything, I'd maybe say that A.Gohan vs Black could be a 6-4 MU, but GO1's team is also designed as a whole unit. Sonic was fighting not just A.Gohan, but A.Gohan with Vegeta's assist to keep him pressured. You can only block so long

Goku Black is a solid jack of all trades character with a couple weaknesses. On that screen, every single character added something bullshit to the table... except Goku Black. He is a bit linear with not a lot of dirt imo (compared to the other 5 characters on the screen at least) so play against the character enough and he becomes a lot easier to deal with. That in combination of GO1 level of play plus how busted his team is lead to why the Fox's Goku Black barely got anything done in the set overall.

Fox picked him up 2nd week of the game's life to join the Goku Black hype train since everyone was saying he was auto top 5. I always believed Black was overrated and after this weekend I honestly predict Sonic will go re-evaluate the character, and swap him for someone else. His Hit and 16 are strong af. Black was the weak link.

Dude I was literally thinking that watching the set lol. He technically plays 6 character because of his first team. I would have hoped he labbed other team combinations in preparation for this tourney and would be prepared to swap in any of those 3. My wish was also Kid Buu, he is super hype!

Kid Buu/Hit/16 feels scarier than Black/Hit/16.

We were discussing this during GFs. Everyone was saying if he switches it’s def going to be black he switches out. Looks like that’s exactly what’s gonna happen. I was hoping it would be kid buu but sadly it’s gonna be....
