Compared to Sonya/Cyrax/Kabal, I wouldn't think so. EX Spear catches his usual pressure options and it's still easier than most to play the hellfire/AA yomi on him. The main problem is how much meter he still builds on the inside which eliminates the threat of vortex more often than not.

Yeah my bad on the Cyrax bit, I thought you said human Cyrax was 3-7 while robot Cyrax was 4-6. As far as Smoke goes, I've no idea what Scorpion can do against him. You can't Hellfire, you get raped in the footsie game, Smoke bomb is a terror, his D4 dominates, as does his B2. You have no way of building meter and if you take any risk and guess wrong, you've just lost the round.

On a whole it's just easier to take more chances against Smoke than Cyrax, the main thing I'd consider matchup-determinant is how thoroughly Smoke Bomb can be abused, Scorpion doesn't have a way to punish it up close and outside of sweep distance you're going on a whim with EX Spear or the JK/TP option select. But granted, he doesn't exactly have 4 different ways to stick his middle fingers up at your breaker, completely nullify your anti-air, your anti-anti air (that's not a typo by the way, lol), your safe options in the vortex and has to care more about getting hit after deploying a projectile. Long story short, at least his shenanigans can be armored reliably.

I feel kitana and kabal are both 7-3 match ups if not worse. Kabal can just dominate from the inside and kitana controls the match from anywhere on screen.

Also I think jax is at least 4-6 because 1 ex dash punch is usually enough to corner you. Jax random advantage in the corner against scorpion is retarded.
