Pterodactyl
Plus on block.
It's not that it makes 50/50's unseeable it's that it allows you to constantly 50/50.What's the point of activating a mode that makes your 50/50 unseeable when it's already unseeable anyways.

The main issue, though, is that it doesn't give him any sort of matchup advantage. Unseeable mixups don't really add much to a matchup. There's no increased risk behind everything. It's not that it makes 50/50's unseeable it's that it allows you to constantly 50/50.
You can do the same with Ex stink except have even more options since you know, you can block lmao and you're also getting in the 40% damage wise as well. Also, vs certain characters, you can blow up armor moves in the corner into 40% combos on oki activations.
Each individual DoT Noxious does counts as a hit towards armor? You can do the same with Ex stink except have even more options since you know, you can block lmao and you're also getting in the 40% damage wise as well.
I'm not sure what you mean? Each individual DoT Noxious does counts as a hit towards armor?
Well slide is actually a solid combo ender now and you can actually have follow ups off it as opposed to in Mk9.I've seen very strong setups from both Noxious and Nimble. Nothing from deceptive. On the subject of reptile I feel he is a solid character and if anything will be his downfall it is the fact that he is quite an expensive character. You need meter for damage and setups; Unless you guys have found some way to break 30% meterless on nimble or noxious while granting reptile good oki.
I think he means,I'm not sure what you mean?
I highly doubt it but I haven't tested for sure.I think he means,
each time the noxious chips away at their life, does that count as a hit against armored moves?

What Natzees said.I think he means,

So perhaps Nimble isn't about the damage but more about oki setups....idkWhat Natzees said.
With basilisk active, some of his strings are fast enough to interrupt some characters' armored attacks on wakeup (namely 14 and b34) into a juggle.
Reptile has a few mid-screen meter-less combos that do +-30% and end in the f21 1+2 set up.I've seen very strong setups from both Noxious and Nimble. Nothing from deceptive. Not necessarily just oki, but the corner game, too. Like, in one basilisk combo, Reptile is automatically sending you to the corner. No questions asked. And in the corner, b2 becomes dumber, he gets more damage off of everything, and now you lose the ability to properly space out against his great normals. And if he anti-airs you, you're back in the corner, and back into a basilisk mixup. And if you don't have a fast enough armor move, you risk just wasting meter to get off the ground, too.So perhaps Nimble isn't about the damage but more about oki setups....idk
His Invisibility variation is his best against certain characters, but only for one reason only, and il make a video soon on why that is.I'll start it off, What do you guys think of his nimble variation?
Too good? Fair? Useless?
Lets discuss!
21, b3, b2, and 1 are all neutral, d4 is also +1.What are some go-to neutral block strings/good pokes with Reptile this iteration? Coming from MK9 I feel like he got nerfed into the fucking ground.
Also can somebody explain to me when you would actually use db4 outside of combos? Sometimes I use the long version from mid screen if they duck block a forceball or something but I'm sure it's unsafe as hell.
He is not you will see soon enoughCan you explain more in depth? I haven't been able to play much so I only know the basic shit with Reptile right now. What's the optimal corner combo for slow and what do you mean 40 percent off of 50/50?
pls halp
Also MKX reptile is far superior to MK9 reptile I'm surprised anyone thinks the opposite.
f4, f41 and f412 can all be unsafe and to make it even worse you cant cancel it into anything to make it safe, besides EX Invisibility apparently. f41 is the safest part of the string as for example Reptiles EX slide can punish f4 and f412 but not f41. Even Kung Lao's Cylcone can not punish f41 at certain distances. With that said I dont think this is the best string to use in neutral and is probably best used in punishes (no hit confirming needed ) and setups. But if you do need to hit confirm it I would option select a hit confirm from the f41.Can you guys hit-confirm f412?
Juggling with strings ending in hard knockdowns offers time to load up. I've been using Noxious, and like the prospects of 14xxBootySweat--it's not as good as the acid puddle, but it doesn't have to cost meter.Has anyone come up with other ways to set up his variation specials? I feel like my brain just doesn't want to work when I go to the lab with him.
