Pre-MLG Dallas Interview #8 - Perfect Legend

First off, I appreciate the shoutouts.

About the lag, in those same matches I punished low hat (-12) with F3 (9f) nearly 100%. I punished 21212 (-13) with dash F3 (~11f) every time. Earlier on stream against soonk and CD Jr I was punishing Kabals ground saw (-12) with dash F3 (~11f) every time too.

Armoring after EX FB on block is a 3 frame window when followed up with a perfectly timed F3. I was punishing stuff that was 3 frames window or tighter every time. I also armored through various strings throughout all my matches, which were streamed. It was the normal slim PS3 and EVO monitor setup.

It's a tight window and its easy to mess up. Just stating my side of it, and what is some pertinent information.

Let me also say about the lag that PL is just saying his opinion on it. Of course there is some salt and disagreement at times, but that is how it goes. Everyone can make their own conclusions because I think PL and I agreed to disagree about that situation and there is no hard feelings.

3 Frame windows aren't shit to get out of on regular setup. You're good but don't act like it didn't come into play. I'm pretty sure you have your lag strats down to buffer shit hella early. I'm timing shit on the frame and its not coming out cause of the lag.

Your d3 also beat out my spin at neutral. Explain? Are you telling me that someone with my level of execution can't do down up+block to get out of a 3 frame window frame trap? Seriously? Is everyone here going to pretend like Cage isn't god mode in lag? Pretty sure you have all fought this character online.

Dizzy your very godlike but lets not be delusional. Of course you wouldn't complain because the lag worked out in your favor. When you lost to that subzero player cause you couldn't block slides on reaction while you used Cage and Kenshi then yea you said you felt the lag on the main stage set up because it was hooked up to the stream. Lets see what happens this time if you run into the same person and or situation.

Lets be serious here punishing something minus in lag is easier than trying to poke out of advantage in lag.

Does anyone else get the vibe that PL is kind of like Apollo Creed and Gross is like Rocky?

Your welcome. It doesn't prove anything at all besides who at the time may be able to random the other player out the match up for any character besides a few is a straight 50/50.

One of the only solid mirror matches in the history of games is Ryu vs Ryu.

People on here just trying to legitimize themselves and beg for props instead of earning their stripes and having honor for themselves.

Now I respect and in a way like all jax players, but I also think your 100 percent correct CDjr is a Russian roulette champion and his success with jax has alot to do with riding those buffs jaxs got. Soon as holes were discovered with the character JR just gave up on him and began to whine about jax f4 vs low hitbox characters, and listen to morons like Foxy"I floped at evo so I droped MK9" Grandpa, and even cried for nrs to patch it f41 to hit all hitbox chars which tyrant never did.

CDjr should take note of PL epic journey of working threw Laos nerfs to inspire him to become a man for once. CDjr drops his best character and now he thinks he is you, and at this point its just sad. Those "majors" CD Jr won weren't majors those were Regionals and guess what all on the East Coast. The one time someone went out of there way to travel over there he lost and that was to Detroit. I'll give him MLG Columbus cause the game had full country representation from most corners of the USA. However every major he has fallen short other than those. Just like everyone saying Michaelangelo won all of these majors when they weren't majors they were regionals. When he went to a major he got his head mashed in.

I am hella unbiased here but I am stating facts. Tyrant eliminated almost all of the best Kabal players at EVO 2011 without the last patch. Tyrant has beaten most all of the current best Kabal players and has placed higher and went further in tournament with Jax alone. Never have I seen him switch to a secondary. Jr at MLG Columbus played Jax and Smoke and won the tournament with Smoke. Which is to this date his biggest tournament win and he didn't even go through the entire tournament with Jax. At NEC where he got 2nd to Detroit he played the finals with Smoke.

At EVO he played Jax and Kabal. Hes been trying to play Kung Lao, Kabal and Jax. Went to SB didn't make top 3. I'm just saying. Nothing against him he is good but Tyrant is the better Jax here and has done more with his character a lone.

Jr only won one major using 100 percent jax and that was season beatings which was majority just EC players + gga, and was right after the jax buffs ala PL point. After that he used secondaries or didn't use jax at all beside the arena but thats not a major. 100 percent all accomplishments Tyrant has made in mk9 lifetime is solely jax the same can't be said for Jr that's fact. Jr won locals so has Tyrant its moot.

In recent time Tyrant got top 8 at evo 2012 using all jax fighting through jax worst matchups, CDjr got bodied using jax at evo ran to kabal, and lets not mention what happen at last tournament CDjr used jax compared to Tyrant at the arena. Even top players like 16bit and PL agree right now currently Tyrant is the better jax and way more innovated. Please by all means let CDjr try playing tyrant again it will be free I promise that.

Come on man. No need to take anything away from Dizzy. What you're saying about lag might be true, and if so then it surely affected things, but he mainly won because he played amazing (which you initially mentioned but have later went on to ignore).

He played amazing but the fact is that I was handicap cause of lag. My amazing > His amazing. On a regular set up he can barely get games on me. Last time I played him in casuals it was like a 5-1 ratio.
