but my kp 5 6 and 7 leakzzz....
That's not a lie though. They released a new Kombat Pack three months later, as well as enhanced functionality for current generation consoles.yeah yeah, but they lie anyway, hehe
like this
so, NRS do great games, but they have a lot to learn with Street Fighter an Tekken, regarding how truly support a game for a longer time, ha !
A game is only "gone" when you stop playing/caring about it.I'm sad to see MK11 go.
I share this mindset. Considering we've been in the dark on/off for months and months on end between each content release, I'm just glad they had the authorization to say it's done. KP dreams, balance hopes, holding out for more life to the game - NRS has now officially stopped stringing us along. The fact that they actually announced this is a great thing. At least people won’t cling onto hope of another big balance patch, or a new Kombat pack. And personally, I was hoping Smoke would be in MK11, but that would have really been the only way I’d start really playing again tbh. So I’m glad they’re moving on
Probably set to be in the KL Reruns like other ???? gearFeels both bittersweet and ironically apt that the day they announce this is the same day I unlocked the final KL skin I needed (well, wanted - I don't want those hideous Special Forces revenants which they didn't even bother to give demonic outfits for). All the others I'd wanted as a must-have for one of my variations, I unlocked through previous seasons or the meteor tower weeks ago, but Kollector's Requisitioner kept eluding me. I literally hit my final daily-reward unlockable today and finally got him (don't like the yellow eyes version and think he looks stupid in the stock renditions with no eyes on the helmet) honestly just as I read this thread. Put a bit of a dampener on it.
That said I know for a fact there's still unreleased KL gear, such as Sub Zero's Master of the Medallion mask (leaked when Aftermath first released), so there's still some stuff coming our way for however little that may be worth?

I understand that the devs might be miffed about how the community received MK11. But they really overcorrected on a lot of design principles and the game is simply not as "exciting" as previous entries. It doesnt help that the game was a disaster at launch regarding SP content.Fun while it lasted but it's probably time to stop being an MK11 apologist. VF5 and GGST really soured my opinion on the game. The game was deeply flawed and I really don't think more DLC would've changed that considering the way the game works would've just made them more of the same.
It's a waste, but considering how lukewarm the reception was and all the visible negativity and hatred levied towards the developers it's not surprising they're ready to try something different
MK11's single player content was a disaster? SFV's launch content defines disaster in that context. Accusing MK of it doesn't sound grounded. And I for one am enormously glad the game wasn't "exciting" as I really enjoyed it because it wasn't the cracked out, hijinks filled mayhem game some people wish it was. Exciting is super subjective and it's super untrue that MK11 was a bad game nobody liked despite how much time and effort people spent spitting on it the whole time.I understand that the devs might be miffed about how the community received MK11. The SP was absolutely a disaster when MK11 launched. Some of towers were nearly unplayable at launch. So many people were pissed about how absurdly unfair some of the modifiers were, and how so much of the games content was locked behind itMK11's single player content was a disaster? I'm kind of glad the angry mob can just move on to tear down some other game and company instead.
Yeah, and don't forget the mobile tier grinding and the Kasino filled with lootboxes. The SP was absolutely a disaster when MK11 launched. Some of towers were nearly unplayable at launch. I think that the majority of the community has already put the game to rest. LOL. I cannot recall the last time that Rooflemonger uploaded a Mortal Kombat 11 video and most videos on TrueUnderDawg's YouTube channel include the "most broken..." series. Ketuchup and Mustard have recently been uploading Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance and Sub Zero Mythologies videos for crying out loud. Look at the results of this thread's poll and also look at the results of Scar's poll created one month ago.Let it rest and see how time will treat it.
I do remember them toning modifiers down, I don't know if difficulty tuning is a disaster, at least not compared to games with few fighters and no offline play modes. The SP was absolutely a disaster when MK11 launched. Really appreciate your positivity for the game, I've loved it too and is literally my favourite in a franchise I've loved since day one. Made me feel like a kid again when I first got MK2 on my SNES and it blew my mind. Except this has kept me occupied for 2 years and allows me to design my fighters how I want them to look. It's why I'm so sad it's ended; it felt like they'd only just scratched the surface of the fun that could be had with customisation options, the size of the krypt (I adored briefly exploring Shang's Island from MK1 and kept hoping we'd see even more of it, especially if it returned to life with blue skies and cherry blossom), additional content, more arenas, tie-in skins with MK21 and Legends etc.I am sad this game is done.
Never had so much fun with an MK game and I would have loved to see this game gets more love.
(In gameplay and content - this game to me feels not "done", imagine SF5 was done after the second season)
This game still has broken/missing unlocks, ... 15k crystals and I can't unlock stuff I am missing ...
(2 missing taunts for Shao Kahn and I played so much when it comes to unlocking stuff, frustrating ...)
See you with MK12 in 2025/26 - never was a big fan of Injustice.
I still can't get Cetrion's 'Butterfly Effects' tendrils from Kollector trades (can't ever get 'The Element Which Brings Life' trade item needed for it nor does he ever have it up for sale regardless) or her 'Cautionary Tale' skin that is apparently in Sprit Krypt Chests.a little weird how some of the concept art in the krypt will never be fully unlocked.
