I won't apologize: it took them 9 fucking months to even begin fixing the bloody horrible netcode, the game sold promoting that it had online while at the current state it just doesn't...
Maybe they were developing a form of GGPO while making MKX. They couldn't implement it in time to coincide with the release date, so they went with the way they knew how.
Not sure if you realize, but in order for this to be announced now, it was probably started 9 months ago. Changes this major aren't engineered overnight.
Can't comment on XB1, but I imagine it works on a similar principle.
That sucks, maybe you had bad experience or worse then myself with bad connections, cause when I did my tps and blocked I got punished badly lol most of the time at least. Worst thing is : people would have been satisfied with just something like "we aknowledge the fact that a lot of people are disappointed with MKX's current netcode, we are working on a new rollback netcode, please be patient, it might take a few months but we'll release a beta test asap".
So basically you're saying MKX was a rushed game?
I would've cut my own heart out with a rusty spoon if I had to wait two days, let alone an unspecified amount of months to get GGPO incorporated.
