Yep, they're more or less nigh omnipotent I would guess they can do anything they wish with only Kronika perhaps being able to stop them since Ed Boon confirmed she's "higher" than they are, but it could also be an Asura situation, where the God of that universe created him but he was powerful enough to kill both his God/creator and himself in the process. The EG could very well do the same to kronika as we've never ever seen them defeated either...and they took out the One being which is pretty damn impressive, then created the worlds/realms from it's body then trapped it's essense within the kamido weapons they made, they can take any form they wish. They no doubt have to nerf themselves I would say for kombat otherwise would be pointless they can just oneshot, destroy everyone easily.Elder Gods are beyond good and evil .... they're something else, and, they're immortal, so, if Cetrion is taking human form and fighting in Mortal Kombat, I even don't doubt if she is doing only for .... fun !!! I mean, soon or later, even Elder Gods get bored with all those infinite power, so, maybe, in order to have some amusing entertainment, she temporary nerfed herself, to give humans and outworld dudes a fair change to defeat her in fair combat, who knows ?
@Onilordasmodeus Hey dude what do you think man? Now that Ed said Kronika is "higher" than them, I wonder if she created the EG? They still seem insanely OP, I wonder if that's her true form makes you wonder.

At least in IGAU they had that pill that made them stronger. In Inj2 they didn't even hint to that in the story mode and sein Batman take a punch from Superman was underwhelming at least.
