Nerf/buffs and what's really needed

Basically interactable shortcuts have no purpose and they cause certain characters to use them accidentally when attempting a string that has 1+2 in it. Cassie can't use her b212 d+12 string near an interactable
Wow, again with this, why does it keep coming up? blah blah blah, six button sticks, blah blah blah.

Not a nerf but remove fucking stance switch from 3+4. Getting random x-Rays when doing 4 into ex something with 3 is not fun
I updated that in the OP but I don't know how to properly word it, since I haven't encountered the problem myself.

But I didn't want to dash
1 bar block breakers because of characters like raiden, liu kang, shinnok, and now mournful kitana. Being one bar allows us to not die while have 25-30% life and only 1 bar because the defending player doesn't gain meter while they're holding on for dear life in these situations.

Either have one bar of stamina after breaking OR have the stamina regen meter regain faster. It's rediculous that after breaking you are as vulnerable as an ant under a magnifying glass. At least with a bar of stamina you can actually perform a combo if you land a counter offense.
But you're asking for a 1 bar solution to characters who's main form of offense is chip damage. Liu Kang has literally been changed for like 3 days, Cage just got nerfed, Shinnok and kitana I'm not super familiar with considering they both just got buffed. Not to mention 1 bar breakers will hurt other characters that don't actually deal as much chip, don't have 50/50 combo starters and have to rely on frame traps and grabs to open people up.If you combine this with an easier tech window some of these characters will be totally fucked.

IMO you should be punished for ending somebody's combo. There's no reason people shouldn't have to deal with the current cooldown other than making it easier for them. You got opened up and prevented the other player from dealing their damage, that's huge. Just because you don't have stamina doesn't mean you have no mobility and cannot stop somebody from just running in your face. Try to just run up on somebody good after they broke your combo and it can turn out really bad, even if it's not max damage due to run cancel.

Also if its one bar of stamina for breakers you'll be able to break a lot quicker after preforming risky, high reward tactics like running in 50/50 and etc. That's an offensive buff in a game that people complain about having not enough defensive options. Also characters with FBC pressure will be buffed because they can break a lot faster after putting themselves at + frames. Currently they can't break for a good period of time after using some stamina which is a GOOD thing and helps defense, especially in a game where normal attacks do chip damage.

But the characters I mentioned don't have just chip damage as their main form of damage, shinnok has a solid 50/50, liu kang gets overwhelming and can put you in the corner for 60% combos 1 bar, raiden can hit confirm his pressure strings easily. This is an issue because of everything else that's in this game, it's naturally imbalanced in places. Characters with multi hitting moves gain meter better than Aquaman trident rush, when they have really good tools on top of that. The defending player doesn't gain meter for playing defensively and some characters just can't build meter like others. So gaining two bars for a breaker becomes very hard to come by. I don't think it will hurt to allow half a bar of stamina and 1 bar of meter to the defending player. I look at breaker as designed to be a 2nd chance or come back element (every fighting game has these nowadays), and without even a pinch of stamina, it doesn't seem to operate as one.

Are ya' ready for MK11 kids?!
Too OP? ;P

Seriously though--I don't know why they count it as a mid. It's silly--common sense says it should be a low hit.
I'm pretty sure it never has been a low. She's gotten on just fine without it in plenty of games for the most part, nor has it been a determinant factor when she's struggled.

I only have one complaint about mkx besides the Net code and that is the chip damage in this game. Talked to friends, we've all played this game since launch and we all feel if there was no chip damage on normal moves, the matches would last longer and even possibley be more intense. Or at least change the chip damage to less damage on block.. Name me one time that you have played mkx and the clock ran to 0. Don't worry I'll wait...

Whats your issue?
This is completely relevent to the topic and its a stupid game mechanic that causes a pretty large issue for certain characters.
Really? how would you use intractable on a six button stick without 1+2? I know it causes issues sometimes, I play Cassie, but that shortcut is the only way for me to do intractables. I also sometimes throw when I don't want from 1+3.

I put fix in OP, idk how they would improve it but let's just hope it gets noticed in a positive way.

I know I saw you did that earlier its wigy that doesn't get it though. they could separate the input shortcut options from the 1+2 and other alt. inputs, but I believe colt has said its not gonna happen for mkx.

Just add an option to turn it off without fucking up control inputs

Its a very simple fix. It basically means in 1:3 of the arena can't use one of her best strings getting changed to something punishable

i went ahead and made a video of the interactable glitch i'm talking about:
You can see that I'm pressing 1 then 2 repeatedly and I'll randomly get an interactable. This happens with every character and interactable.

This is just something that happens specifically with Takeda where I'll be holding 1 cuz of EX Kunai then try to press b2 and get interactable.

I remember someone posted a video somewhere of Cassie's b212d1+2 string getting an interactable. That is infinitely worse because it'll happen 100% of the time you're near an interactable.

This needs to be fixed ASAP and at the top of the priority list. This shit can cost you the match...

Again, I just don't think the hitbox makes sense, anatomy wise. It's like sweeps...it's an obvious low hit. I do, however, understand that it's the way it is because it would apparently be making her the OP goddess otherwise.

Kotal Kahn:
- 114 string needs to not whiff vs crouching opponents
- much less recovery on sun ray otherwise its complete useless from range against anyone even with one range attack or special. (kotal doesnt get much damage and ending with sun ray is just waste of time, in most cases)
- no gap after B14 otherwise its useless if your opponent has armor move and 1 bar.

Updated OP with a jax nerf. Is there anyone from the jax community that can add to any of this? I heard he has some hitbox issues but I don't want to add it unless I hear it from the correct source.

The smart stuff!
I'd suggest that cryo sub should be able to cancel his normal hammer to help his meter building. Normal hammer is already pretty slow and unsafe, his MB one is what this variation orbits around. Anything that would help him build meter really.
I also am not sure about usefulness of air hammer. Like, it looks more and more like ice puddle from MK9 - is there, but nobody uses.
