Hey guys, in this post I'm going to be discussing my honest opinions of the Clown Prince of Crime. The reason I am doing this is because I often get a lot of messages on why I use this character and also because there are somethings i'd like to say about this character. To avoid putting people on blast or who have gotten me salty over my time so far in injustice I won't be tagging anybody. This is just a pure read and comment if you want afterwards.
Where to begin, first off I would like to say that not a lot of people know me outside of PSN or my friends list and even a few friends I've made from here and that's cool because, rather I'm a top player or not, my opinion is valid to myself and those who agree with what I say. The hate doesn't matter to me.

Now that I got that out of the way lets get into the discussion at hand. Joker is thee hardest character to use in this game... PERIOD. He is a very odd character as far as his move set, play style and overall design is concerned. He has strengths that can be exploited (the famously underutilized pushblock) and weaknesses that just murder him. To be great with this character you need to COMMIT to him and the Knowledge of every MU in the game and because this character requires SO MUCH COMMITMENT he is barely represented by the injustice community outside of my very few Joker brethren because he isn't easy to use. As a character in a general sense, Joker has all the tools that can handle any regular situation. In injustice Joker is, more or less, the easiest character to put on blast, making him IMO the worse character in this game, chilling next to Cyborg. I notice on this website how people say he isn't bad and then when they post a MU chart their character beats him and what does that tell you? As much as I want to believe he is good in this game I would be lying. Using him is like playing chess, you have to be a few moves ahead and cover your tracks or you will forever lose. He requires so much thought and is such a high risk character no top player will touch him for REAL tournament playthroughs and no Sonicfox using him like once in pools doesn't count.

If anybody loses to the Joker and gets salty saying how broke he is and all this s*** I want you to remember this post. You lost because you got outsmarted. YES THAT JOKER PLAYER THAT BEAT YOU OUTSMARTED YOU and you are to salty to realize your character that has a bright as day advantage over Joker, depending on who you play, got put on blast.

Everybody gets salty at injustice, the game is nonsense, but at the end of the day out of all the characters in this game called Injustice Gods Among Us, Joker is a mortal :joker: And Cyborg.

Regardless of what i said I love using the Joker and he is my favorite character of all time. I will continue to play injustice strictly because of the Joker amd with that said
I want to recognize the Ghost town that is the Joker community, or whats left of it, who always is putting in work to try to make the best of this character and help each other strengthen our gameplay via knowledge or tech. Mad love to the brethren in the community for sticking with Joker this long.

I will tag the current Jokers because they deserve a good shout out rather they agree with my post or not.

Joker is a good character everyone else us just better than good. He has no safe 50/50s that are legit, his zoning would be average if nrs fixed his gun whiff issues, requires intense knowledge and has nothing that's abusable. hes in the wrong game. Where there's safe 50/50s guaranteed intractable setups,trident rushes,instant air zod balls, trait slashes, the flash(geez hes a nightmare), and lets not even bring up zatanna. Just put the controller down and go play outside or something.

Pressure with constant mixups, stupid corner game, unblockable setups, plus frames on everything, amazing aerials, standing resets, the ability to convert almost everything into a full combo, combos that end in a ridiculously + on block, endless frametraps (Including a few that frametrap you into unblockable setups) and one of the best D2s in the game.

I'm not going to say his dirt is better than the dirt high tiers have, but he definitely does have dirt.

Plus frames are irrelevant to Jokers gameplay because his neutral is ass. Also he has dirty setups but all of it can be pushblocked. Joker can be maintained throughout the entire MU by almost everyone regardless of what he has. Its about what he lacks. His D2 is great range wise, thats about it. Also Jokers mixups are intellectual and require planning. I would say they are more trap setups because this character actually lacks a strong 50/50.

When the game first came out I really considered using The Joker as my main.

BUT...I had to choose between my favorite superhero and my favorite villain, and my favorite superhero won out.

Still, I love playing and watching Joker mains. It's a crazy and sometimes frustrating match-up.

Hes fun to play but dude the struggle is real with him. I still support the character because the loyalty is real.

I understand all about character loyalty. Look, I know Batman is high tier. However, I'd probably still play him if his trait was nerfed 1,000 times because he's god damn Batman.

But Joker is a fun character. No lie.
