The thing to remember is this is people's opinion. Most people don't want to say anyone is the best in the world in anything, especially in something where you're a player too. Even Capcom players would vote "NO" in a poll asking if Daigo is the best in the world, or someone else who clearly dominates the game.

Based on the facts, CD jr is unmatched. That is not an opinion, that's based on tournament results and overall performance. USA hasn't played "the world" yet at a tournament so you can't objectively say he's the best in the world. But you can say he's proven himself more than anyone in the world.

In terms of accomplishments? CD Jr and REO obviously for the US. Personally I think REO is the best US player. Plus REO gives back to the community; that's something I really respect.

Is this even a question? His record speaks for itself. CDjr is currently the best Mortal Kombat player, period.

There are other great players at his level for sure; I honestly feel that REO and Maxter are just as qualified players as CDjr. That said, he wins when he needs to 95% of the time. The fact that everyone is saying no really proves how salty this community is.

CD Jr is clearly the best MK player in the world. He can lose, but he currently is the most accomplished and is pretty much favored to be in the top 3 in evey tournament he goes to.

But he's never played in a true world competition yet, so to say he is, by answering this question is purely speculation. Nothing more, nothing less.

But you bet your sweet ass he is the best MK9 player in North America right now.

You can say EVO, but not every pro player will be there.
