If I’m not wrong Unbreakable Sub (the one with the parry) was the worst throughout the whole lifespan of MKX, I remember people trashing Dualist Liu and Balanced Kenshi (I think Kenjutsu was utter shit despite the best design) . Commando Kano was also kinda meh for people but in my opinion it had potential, it’s just it relied a lot on correct reads.

Unbreakable by the end was better than Cryomancer. I wouldn't even call it bad, just worse than GM. Dualist had a top 5 corner game and good pressure, so I'm reticent to say it was actually bottom tier. Especially when characters like Marksman Erron Black got so incredibly messed up by the stamina nerf that they were barely functional.

Actually yeah, if I had to pick, it'd be Marksman. No mid, reliant on cancels for conversions, and poor zoning.

Unbreakable was literally unplayable. Cryomancer was buffed in the latest patch and got a solid command grab so no, Unbreakable isn’t better than Cryomancer at all.
Marksman worked better than Outlaw too, if I’m not wrong. Still worse than Gunslinger though.
I have no idea what you mean by corner game with Dualist. Dark gets interrupted even if you play a child, Light has useless healing move and okay zoning tool

Cryo got fuzzyable mix and lost it's neutral. Gilbagz, the Australian sub who was pretty much the only dedicated Cryo considered it a straight up nerf as I recall. Unbreakable got proper plus pressure and links from icing up, the only single bar launching armor in the game, and a solid parry, all while still having the mix of Sub-zeros base kit. If you think it was unplayable, you aren't aware of what it became in the final patch.

I am aware of Cyomancer being a great variation in the latest patch. Never seen any solid unbreakable player, that true

Idk but I wanna say that Lackey Ferra Torr deserves consideration. I played Drunken Master and I thought I had a favorable matchup against that character, can't imagine how he played against higher tiers. Nobody played that that character though, shrug

I did. He was ass. when armored launchers were nerfed this character pretty much lost the only tool that he was worth for playing him. It‘s crazy how bad he was since His ruthless variation was extremely good
