patchnotes....well..
  • Kano - Adjusted opponent’s victim region during the hit reaction to Blade Evade (Away + Front Punch)
  • Kano - Blade Evade (Away + Front Punch) cancel frame now occurs 5 frames earlier and has 5 less recovery frames on miss
  • Kano - Blade Evade (Away + Front Punch) now breaks armor and the air hit reaction has been changed
  • Kano - Fixed a rare issue that could cause Black Dragon Ball to lose trades against certain attacks

at least he got some sausages....

You can do jik 11 b1 acid amp for an unescapeble trap reset into +56 in dirtbag
You can do (with your back towards the corner) 24 1+3 amp 11 b1 knife into +14 and guess mid or command grab in ripper
You can get b1 into snakebite anywhere on the screen now with ratbag
That ill works till Rambo comes out and bring Commando kano back on tracks with steroids and ULTIMATE SOLDIER HYPE

Have you guys messed around with ragtag in this new patch? B1 into snake bite actually connects outside of the corner now it's sick and leads to so much damage.

interesting. hoped that he got some more stuff for the ripper var to lab around...maybe next time.

Some big things:

Kano now has BIG fatal blow combos you can't break away from. Will post numbers later.

Kano v3 is now not as weak to breakaways (before you could punish him by falling out mid combo). He can keep all his combos not only breakaway safe but still keep going. Example: [starter] - snakebite amp - b1 - ball. You sacrifice some damage but won't ever be punished for it, nor will you ever lose damage.

EDIT: I never realized you can breakaway DURING snakebite. If they fix this he will actually be pretty good.

Ok so FB damage is nice now. The combos is [launcher] - B1 - FB. Damage if they don't breakaway/if they breakaway:
24 1+3 - 420/451 (Ripper)
D2 KB - 487/506
D2 KB BA - 506
B2 - 347/366

Looking to pick Kano up but not really sure which variation to start with. Which variation would you recommend for someone looking to pick him up?

They fixed the dialogue in the towers, now it cycles through all lines for all characters

They still have not removed the darn cap from the beer bottle when he does his brutality pose.

The armor break patch is making people just how variable breakaway can be on timing. Thanks for all the videos, these are great.

Thanks <3. He actually has good damage guaranteed off his d2 KB now. D2 KB B1 ball, even without amp is a nice chunk. The timing varies with the breakaway timing but you can just dash and time it. As long as you don't autopilot the timing it's fine.
