Plus this guys know more about fighters then most people on tym.
They know how the best fighters work such as sf3, ssf4, kof, tekken etc
And they are borrowing mechanics from all of them!!!

I already knew about this, they also just said on stream 30 minutes ago that when you buy the full game you can get all the characters, or buy characters individually.

When you download the demo, you essentially get the full game with Jago only, from then on you an either buy characters one by one, or all of them.

There IS a hard copy for the game. You could also download the whole game through your Xbox like every other game.

MS better fix this. The more I think about it the more upset I get. I genuinely feel bad for the people at Killer Instinct and Titanfall because those games looked so promising.

Why not set up a local wifi at tournaments? It's not that hard and it doesn't matter if the connection sucks or not. You're not playing online anyway.

It should NOT be concern if the console has to be online at all times during tourneys, OF CONCERN SHOULD BE WHERE IN HELL WE ARE GOING TO PUT ALL THOSE KINECTS SENSORS????

Rare made the OG KI, but this new studio(double helix) is making this one(or at the very least, co-developing). There track record includes but is not restricted to: silent hill: homecoming, g.i. joe rise of the cobra, front mission evolved, green lantern:rise of the manhunters and battleship.

The game is most definitely not in good hands. Why doesn't MS just let rare make the game? Why involve a studio with one of the worst track records I've ever seen(did you see that gi joe game?!!).

Oh well, probably wasn't going to buy an xbone anyway.

HA! I said that yesterday to Reisenberger on facebook, that we should go Kickstarter and begin working on PR3 to catch KI and MK and SF...

Its 1994 again ;)

As of recently Rare as made blockbuster hits such as Kinect Sports, Kinect Sports 2, and they're working on...Kinect Sports 3. Rare as we knew them died when the N64 died.

Fighting games in this generation with 12 chars? no, is not acceptable, this game needs all chars of the Ki and Ki 2, bosses including, and new chars of course, maybe a new boss.
Cinder, Thunder, Riptor and Eyedol (KI), Kim Wu, Tusk, Maya and Gargos (KI2).

Just wanna say that if they want Killer Instinct to do well and have good numbers in tournaments, they should take out the exclusive and make it for ps4 as well.
Thinking about it from a competitive point of view, I don't think the game will last very long if it's just for Xbox only. Anyone else agree? >.>

I have faith in DoubleHelix, in fact, remember when ppl were worried about Retro Studios working on Metroid before Prime saga?

The worst that can happen is that the game sucks but comes bundled with KI1 and 2 =D

Invalid point.

Melee and brawl were EVO games. Only on wii.

Tatsunoko vs Capcom was a Wii only game and an Evo game. Huge participants entrants too.

ALL TEKKEN GAMES Since Tag1 to 5 DR were console exclusives, and they all were Evo games with HUGE turnoouts.

Moot point IMO .
