I've been watching all the high level play with him but honestly he's got hard learning curve to truly bring out his potential. They make the rc look so bloody easy.

Would Shinnok or kotal be a character to learn along side CT kano?

Probably a good counter to Sub Zero, rather than Shinnok or Kotal.

GM sub is my bane of existence so I guess that makes since too. Aslo GM sub is CT losing mu.

Funny though. This is the first mk I've played were I never bothered learning sub so I'll take that advice.

It's basically never your turn against Cutthroat. If you block one of his 50/50 (or his double 50/50s xD) that's it, that's all the reward you are gonna get, the satisfaction of having blocked it, because you are not getting the turn. At least until the patch comes, but probably by then nobody will play this variation anymore...:rolleyes:

I'll still play him 100%. Also he does have weaknesses and gaps but people still don't know how to abuse them

I'm starting to realize I don't get has punished as often as much as the other 2 variations. So im able to do or try loads of bullshit with him. People are deathly afraid of him up close.

But I still perfer cybernetic more then CT. I just wish cyber and cmd kano were straight up just as good in more match ups then CT. Cutthroat plays almost. Just almost too safe.

I'll still be using cutthroat after the patch. Hell I was using cutthroat before the KP2 patch. I hope commando gets some buffs though.

I found a new combo n the corner last night online by accident. It does 57% 2 Bars or 1 Bar depending on when you do the buff in or before combo.

B12-Ex dd3~F212-b312-112-Exdb1~njp-112-bf3

It was nerfed. Ex buff gets 10 extra recovery frames when opponents are blocking. Only 4 ex buff is plus now (only +5). Everything else is minus and shouldn't be used (even 4 ex buff shouldn't be used often). It's better to hitconfirm all of his string rather than spending meter for ex buff everytime

Sorry i tried to emphasize on hit ppl dont see it coming, to open ppl up make sure you're using b31 into db1 ex to open ppl up because dont forget b121 wiffs and only 1 comes out if they block ill post some clipsso yall can see my midscreen strats

Also to follow up "if" you master the timing after you get a starter into ex buff midscreen always go for f212 -2(wait till kano puts his daggers away then press 2)-db1ex -jip-rc-112~bf3 for almost 50% its the optimal punish in my book as kano i do a lot of cancelswith db1 still nd use his backdash to remain safe

Example
B12~DD3EX-F212-2~DB1EX-JI1-RC-112~BF3 [Aprox 45-47<% Dmg]
This can put them into the corner from midcreen into splat for a reliable 50/50 for a little extra damage while the buff is still on for about [25-30% With Bnb]
Putting you at footise kill damage remaining.

Wana delete my comments because I imputed the combo wrong :mad:
The correct conversion is the following because I forgot the damage scaling but it is the same dmg.

Starter(Preferably B12) ~ DD3EX - F212-2-DB1-112~DB1EX-RC~112-BF3
(2Bars for 50% into corner carry splat for a suspected scummy 50/50) Not too scummy.

You can possibly do a JI1 or JI3/4 into AKB if you feel the combo is gonna drop if you don't have enough stamina after the "DB1EX"

B31 is +4/+5 and if B1 whiffs B12 is +2/+3
