Not sure what you are getting at. The first game he won 2 you wont 1 then cut out to the next game. He won one then you beat him then cut out to the next game. He won one then you lost and that was it?

Well yeah for fun but I'm still gonna try to play as smart and my hardest because I want to have that mindset all the time. I saw you play cyrax and I like learnin matchups, so I'll take any games anywhere ;). But like I said to Prim, I'm only ps4 :(. Seems like us kano's are so spread out lol with in EU or here but on different consoles :p

its cutting in and out, cuz i have XB DVR and it only records 30 seconds at a time.

so i randomly slapped them together.

there was plenty more than just those vids.

not sure what you saw but i was in the advantage at the end. don't know if i posted all of them in order, i probably didn't.

i WAS NOT making a point of that im beting a guy, I AM making the point that Cyber is very good at space control, even though both my characters are ranked on people individual tier lists as bottom 10.

im doing fine with them.

ill admit Cyrax is definitely most of the time at a Disadvantage.

but Cyber has moire tools to deal with the dirt, along with his movement and backdash, he can almost wiff punish any move in the game.

that Back 2 is godlike.

I called this out a few pages back. I even made a .gif of it.

Side Note: I'm not 100% caught up on this thread, but I saw people saying that Kano's low option is unsafe?.. HUH?! Its not only safe, its +1.. Unless you can't hit confirm, his 50/50 options are neutral at worst, and if you spend a bar are +9 at worst.

I didn't at all get the vibe that Pig was trying to lobby NRS to nerf Kano, it truly came across across as just sort of a look at why he's becoming a popular variation as of late. To me, this was almost like a Kombat Kast in that it was an introduction to his meta/playstyle and his toolset, not some comprehensive, final character breakdown looking at all his drawbacks. Seemed like a prominent member of the community looking at a character, a lot like K&M do.

Such kneejerk fear mongering and bullshit from kano mains in here.

And, I don't care how arrogant pig came across with those few comments, he's right. It must feel pretty surreal to day after day read incredibly strong opinions about the mechanics and characters within the game from people who are complete novices. I wouldn't debate the physics of blackholes with Hawking, it'd be ridiculous, and it's equally ridiculous to try and pretend that someone who is brand new to MK sees the game at the level Pig does.

Changed name, my brother was on this forum until many nerfs made him leave.

he said he was done with the whining community and i got on the account.

this account used to be ESG and it had 3 people on it.

then my brother took it over.

i have the GT ESG Jagged, and am buying my brother a new system, he took my ps4 and i took his Xbox.

This is kinda difficult to pull off on a read as you may know in some situations. But this is also very true.

That's why I rate cyber's b1 over CT but by the slimmest of margins. Oh that -8. How it vexs me.

@PrimBloodGhost your right. Cyber doesn't get the attention of commando or cutthroat & he's still very good to use but CT is next to godlike compared to cyber.

If CT gets in on cyber he's doomed. Cyber has almost a zero percent chance at a comback in kano mirrors. He does need his really good footsies control and full use of his meter for breakers and ex ball wakeup or ex laser both ground and up for space and reversals.
Ex knives do little but add to his regular knifes chip damage when controlling the space. He's just not there yet in that mu sadly and that's a shame.

But I'll agree. He can win the mu against a bad CT player or inexperienced player who doesn't know or respects cyber. But against a experienced CT... It's possible But I think it's still in CT favor. Cyber needs to get in and out and keep you in the corner or get you there quickly in his favor.

Cutthroat escorts you there with at least a 32% damage combo that unfortunately cyber just can't constantly put out with out spending a bar at least. And Cyber needs those bars far more the cutthroat.

I'm not brand new to the game or fighting games in general. Imo CT is no debate around the top 10 variants in the game. I just won't place him in the 5th spot.

the overall tone is almost leaning towards some believe that Kano wins no matter what and there is nothing you can do about it. apparently he is a 10/0

you feel he is safe and has it all, no since in labbing anymore.

basically where i stand, i think its untrue and there is plenty ways to beat him.

and if you feel differently then prove it, no more theory fighting.

whoever says he is godlike and needs a nerf, take him to a major and vs Sonic Fox. Win and show he is better than all characters that he has it all and can not be beaten, or that you guys are playing him correctly and you absolutely know he has no weaknesses.

i have a feeling that Sonic will win, and he will show you those weaknesses, and you guys will cry for nerfs anyways, and just make the excuse that he is broke and needs a tone down.

I guarantee that sonic can open any of you up and show that weakness, so if he was safe and free, and never has a weakness you shouldn't get beat by Sonic if you are playing him correctly and utilizing every one of his tools.

Dude....you're so confident and self-assured in your own opinions, but they all seem to be demonstratively wrong. It's a glaring contradiction and you sound ridiculous.

Cybernertic having better space control or zoning has nothing to do with plus frames or being safe after throwing out buttons. You can't have a discussion about an established concept like safe vs. unsafe and just decide that for your purposes safety now means something completely different. You come across as someone who really is clueless on any meaningful level, yet read forums and watch gameplay and try and talk like an expert but it's clear you're not.

I just watched a ten minute video of you throwing yolo kano balls from almost fullscreen and spamming d4 out of range with no followups. Just stop, you're clearly arguing just to argue.

CT shits on Cyber, its not even close.

Cyber
-Superior knives
-Better AA options (B1)

CT
-DB1 is safe and has amazing range
-Inferior knives but can still zone a bit and also anti-zone
-Safe overhead, safe low
-50/50's galore
-Power up blows up wake-up attacks
-Same mobility as Cyber

I'd rather play MKX and get in with CT, than pretend I'm playing MK9 by chucking knives all day. And I like zoning, always have. But CT is so much better at fitting into this game. CT is an A+ character, Cyber probably hovers around B.
