That attitude of assuming that everyone plays at the highest level is the reason why TYM has gotten down to the point were we can't discuss anything without being a huge drama. If you're gonna come and be strongly opinionated, then you better make sure you know what you're talking about. I'm not gonna go to Magnus Carlsen and argue with him because he clearly knows his shit way better than I do. I'm not saying that his opinion is not valid but god forbid someone disagrees because you guys go nuts. And no, staying online and arguing about tier lists is not the same as actually showing up at majors, writing guides, making videos, running tournaments and developing resources. The community wasn't built on ppl staying home doing nothing.

For the majority of this yes I agree with. But you gotta understand everyone is different and has different points of view. Just because the majority believe one thing doesn't necessarily mean that they are right or wrong. That individual could have a mental clutch vs character "A" and/or not know the matchup. Also, because of the whacky ass patching that NRS pulls out of their hat, no one knows what to expect. So it's pretty scary, especially when ya finally get something good out of it. Our communities should be at least a little defensive towards their characters. I mean we are getting into a serious era of competitive gaming. It's almost a true sporting event at this point. But to address the online thing, by playing online you still have to give some credit. I say this because even if the person isn't at the highest level they are still contributing to the community with exposing matchup knowledge. We are constantly learning, so even as "different" as online is to offline competitive play, it's still a contribution and helps the community grow. No we weren't built around playing online only but it's evolving, and that is having an impact. To me what you said all made sense but I just thought the vid was a little unnecessary that's all bud.
