I think he fundamentally meant that you are MEANT to be able to get in on zoners, otherwise the game would be completely broken.

Lobo had crappy armour frames on that move by the way, and just because its got armour and its advancing doesn't meant its good.

I played a lot of Jokers and I am waaaaaaay more familiar w/Joker they they were with Aquaman. As Joker players this is the issue. Knowing you have bad MU's means you absolutely cannot afford to have your opponent be more familiar with your character then you are with theirs. This is your main problem..

First off... its Woe*.
Second, aren't you basically just saying that his only chance is against people that don't know the matchup? If so... isn't that proof that he's in a bad way since most high level players know every matchup by now?
I'm trying to build MU experience and level up as a player (this is pretty much my first fighting game), but that doesn't change the fact that good players can't do anything with him on the tournament level either.
I don't want a broken character, I want a mid tier character, I purposely don't play top tier character... which apparently makes me retarded, but oh well.
If you don't think he's the worst, who is and why?

While this interesting nothing is going to change in this game for awhile. We MIGHT get a hot fix 6 or so months from now. Just continue to do you research with the character and you might find something you missed you never know.
I do agree you got the bad hand being stuck with things like whiffing MIds and slow gas can. Just nothing more can be said right now then it sucks to be Joker right now.

There will always be a "worse character" in fighting games. I wish this community would realize this.

Here is my problem with this argument:
While it's true that there is always going to be a worst character in a game, the gap between that character and the top characters can be infinitely smaller and still prove this statement. While this game is actually quite well balanced and I think this patch did an excellent job across the board, I also think it kinda left Joker even farther behind that he was and increased this gap, at least IMO. Lobo went from zero to hero, Shazam got some good improvements, Bane got even better...
Joker got a better crowbar out of it, but got absolutely nothing that addressed his flaws. Still struggles in every matchup that was bad before (7-3 bad, not 6-4 bad), with some improvement based on other characters being nerfed.
We're not trying to sit here stamping our feet, we just want to get some of his flaws addressed. Still love him, still always gonna play him regardless.

He's saying it legitimately didn't used to function how it does not. The armor was delayed, it wasn't overhead, and it had no invincibility on wakeup, which made it a terrible gap closer regardless of it's advancing nature.

Not saying get in free, but if you played him you'd realise he really did struggle vs zoners that move you are talking about had late armour frames and a bad startup. You sound like you haven't played lobo tbh

Ummm..no? I definitely said that Lobo is viable now. That I was saying he has a way to get in. I wasn't talking about post-patch at all. Where did you get that impression? And again, my point was using his CURRENT STATE as an anecdote to illustrate the community's stance on zoning.
