Not to mention her buggy x-ray that only does 29%.Seriously it seems that way. She is the only character in the game that has links and BnB's that will whiff due to random occurrences like the opponent "blocking low" or being hit "too far away". It's ridiculous.
They know about it so I'm really hoping this gets fixed soon. Imagine playing in a tournament and you waste a a bar of meter on EX Rocket because your B2 "hit them while they were crouching" or "hit them at too far a distance" so your wide open for a counter. Or you EX dust but it drops for the same reason and now they're rushing in your face while you're recovering.
Ridiculous.

Here:Can anybody tell me why b.2 into EX up rocket just seems to randomly miss in matches all the time? I've never missed it in training mode so it's particularly weird to me. It seems 100% but in matches I see it just whiff all the time.
Mmk, just thoroughly tested b2~db2(ex) [full auto] against the entire cast. Be prepared, it's a bit of a mindfuck. Shit seems hella arbitrary and depends on whether they are crouching, blocking, not blocking, etc. Haven't tested Goro or Jason yet.
b2~db2(ex) always whiffs on the following opponents from all ranges if they are crouching, regardless of whether or not they are blocking:
Mileena
Cassie
D'Vorah
b2~ db2(ex) will whiff on the following opponents from the respective ranges if they are crouching without blocking

I practically went INSANE trying these because nobody said it's impossible to conect anything after bf2 if the starter is any of the b33, b14, b2, b3, f4b4,f4b2,f3b4,f3b2. I haven't managed to conect a single run 1 after those. And I've been practicing for hours. I might be retarded but I seriously doubt it since :
It only works after 33, or 121, and it is so easy I can do it 9/10. Why the hell is this so inconsistent?

Using either 121, F1, B33 or 33 the combos labelled as generic 'starters' work on the whole cast as far as my testing worked. They are hard as fk sometimes, but consistent and unfortunately seem to be essentials. A lot of times I only use them when I'm in 'the zone', but following 2 weeks of solid practice, I'm hitting them consistently on the entire cast and I'm developing a natural sense for when to tone them down and end with something easier.I was in the combo thread, and it said [starter] bf2, run, 1..etc.

*shameless self promotion*Has anyone played around with missile setups after f12? I feel like there's potential there, but not sure dropping the combo at 8% for a reset (granted a very hard to block reset) is viable. Maybe if we could get more damage out of it? It gives you perfect spacing and placement for the rocket and is a hard knockdown. You can go for a safe j2 and beat any wakeup in the game that isn't a teleport or forward advancing (so that makes it useful against like uhh Kenshi, Dvorah, Ferra/Torr [they advance too slowly and get blown up] and quan chi [teleport is too slow]). Hmm :/ ahh well.
