I'm 99% sure it's not that hard to communicate whether or not the reveal date you posted is actually happening or not.

I asked the people at IGN and NRS around 9AM EST if they could confirm or deconfirm a character reveal today, nobody replied.

what everyone is frustrated with is the lack of communication. If they. Ale out and said "sorry guys we messed up" or even "we are saving it for tomorrow's stream" no one would mind. But the lack of communication happens more times than not. We either get the silent treatment or we get Ed Boon's trolly-polly answers.

Its not like NRS has to shut down the whole studio and have everyone stop working just to let us know lol. Dude, chill. I haven't seen anyone bashing NRS, or boohooing about it, just expressing varying degrees of sarcasm and making jokes about the situation. People are hype and excited. It wouldn't have been hard for them to say the date was an error, which is a very logical thing to do in light of them only appearing to notice the actual day of, but again, no big deal. Shit happens, and I think everyone is acting pretty cool about it.

When they have an employee titled "Community Specialist", we expect them to be more engaged with the community.

I get why people are raising a bit of stink about this, it is not just this one time that they refuse to give us relevant information and updates on current issues.

But ultimately I am chill because the game is still so far away. It would just be nice if they had their ground level guys posting on the forums more often and literally giving as much information as possible on the regular.

I really hope NRS does not allow angry people online to influence them to go silent. That would show some awfully thin skin in this modern world.

I hope it is more of an Ed Boons 90s kinda approach and/or WB putting the restraints on dealing with the public. If it is mere "we are just gonna stay quiet because you made me mad" female scorn type of attitude that they have, then that would be bad for business.
