I'm not a pro.

This is your third "Sky is Falling" thread in under a month. When people talk about the posters being toxic, you calling the game a piece of shit and crying that the game is full of 8/2 matchups because you don't like your Batman MU is exactly what they're speaking about.Phew, I believe that covers just about everything that was brought up. Again, thanks for keeping this discussion civil and constructive.
- Waaaaah. You're just a crybaby!
- Thanks for your helpful response and for promoting active discussion on the site, @CrimsonShadow. With mods like you, I can't imagine why people are fleeing TYM en masse to discuss things on private Discord servers. I thought TYM was a forum for discussing the game, but you're the mod, so I guess I'll defer to your judgement. I expect that kind of response from many of the less-respected TYM members, but I'm genuinely disappointed to see it coming from you.
C'mon dude, there's no need for that. He's entitled to his opinion and his right to post on a public forum, so if he happens to expose himself as a massive scrub via threads like this, who cares? Either you get a juicy discussion or he gets roasted properly, what's the issue?and so if you continue bashing the developer, the game and the staff, you'll find yourself at the end of it soon.
I can't speak for CS, but to chime in - this type of thread is flat-out depressing. That in combination with rising use of Discord (or perhaps, the declining use of the forums) just results in somewhat of a toxic atmosphere - something the NRS community already has infamy for.C'mon dude, there's no need for that. Phew, let's break this down:This is your third "Sky is Falling" thread in under a month. When people talk about the posters being toxic, you calling the game a piece of shit and crying that the game is full of 8/2 matchups because you don't like your Batman MU is exactly what they're speaking about.
First it's a 10/0 matchup (now I guess you've upgraded it to 8-2) and now the entire game is trash. It's like the TYM equivalent of watching Trump's election campaign
After all this, you'd like to blame others for the fact that Discord is convenient to use, without realizing that threads like yours are the ones everyone cites as justification for wanting to discuss their characters in peace.
In amy case, you're lucky that I have more patience with you than others probably would. But patience isn't unlimited; and so if you continue bashing the developer, the game and the staff, you'll find yourself at the end of it soon.
You need to find a less-extremist way to make your points. So take this as a diplomatically-worded word of caution. Figure out how to dial it back and get your message across.
The environment's only toxic if no one is calling out the lunacy. Stating that the game is full of 8-2 MU is, at this point, lunacy. Do they have a right to say that? Absolutely. Do I have a right to say that they are probably not very good and need an excuse? Absolutely.I can't speak for CS, but to chime in - this type of thread is flat-out depressing. That in combination with rising use of Discord (or perhaps, the declining use of the forums) just results in somewhat of a toxic atmosphere - something the NRS community already has infamy for.
Everybody should be free to express their opinion, but there are better ways to do so than OP's.
Wait, wait, you complained about all those characters when they got changed in the same type of hyperbolic and crappy fashion! You said DS got nerfed to "shit tier," which was later shown to be bull just one week later. You have consistently been a looney tune character when it comes to the forums, so more shitposting is really just kind of expected, but don't pretend like writing a guide about how to use normals is suddenly a cure-all to your shitposting. You bring up my complaint threads and focus on them while completely ignoring all of the good I do on TYM. I answer questions almost 24/7 and have arguably the most helpful and complete character guide on all of TYM in my Ultimate Cheetah guide (and MK9 Kano guide and Injstice Deathstroke guide and MKX Jacqui guide and MKX Jax guide...). But fine, I'm just a toxic poster crying for nerfs and driving everyone away.
The issue is that "Waaaah the developer sucks" threads actually take attention away from the people who are working to make decent topics and share information.C'mon dude, there's no need for that. He's entitled to his opinion and his right to post on a public forum, so if he happens to expose himself as a massive scrub via threads like this, who cares? I don't remember exactly what I said about Deathstroke at the time, but I do remember the entire Deathstroke community coming to the consensus that he was overly nerfed due to the standard NRS knee-jerk reaction we all know so well.Wait, wait, you complained about all those characters when they got changed in the same type of hyperbolic and crappy fashion! I think people click on the threads that interest them. I don't know if there is any evidence that threads like mine are hurting TYM. I could make a very good case that TYM needs threads like this. Posted at almost midnight last night, it's up to over 4,500 views already. Almost all of the discussion has been constructive, even with those who vehemently disagree with me, other than toxic, divisive comments made by yourself and a handful of others. The issue is that "Waaaah the developer sucks" threads actually take attention away from the people who are working to make decent topics and share information.
Then it's "Well no one shares information any more", when in fact other good threads will be posted that are simply overshadowed by the rampant screaming and crying and dev-bashing.
There are mature ways to create topics for any line of discussion you can think of. But even I have tolerance limits for people that are constantly clickbating and screaming for attention because things aren't perfectly to their liking.
I have contributed things, but that doesn't really matter. What I was saying was that posting guides or things of that nature is not indicative of even a modicum of skill at the game. Professionals are paid to write guides for all sorts of games, doesn't make them an expert on them. So you using that as an indication that your shitposting is not without merit is erroneous.I don't remember exactly what I said about Deathstroke at the time, but I do remember the entire Deathstroke community coming to the consensus that he was overly nerfed due to the standard NRS knee-jerk reaction we all know so well.
And say what you will about my guides, but they take a considerable amount of time and effort to put together, all in an effort to help other TYMers better learn the characters. You can shit-talk me all you like, but I don't see you contributing anything to TYM, except to try to shame and shut down anyone voicing an opinion that conflicts with your own.
When I say "plz fix it" it does imply it's a bug but I know it's probably not. I should be saying "adjust" because most people who play agree it should be adjusted. It seems very unneccesairly problematicAgain, I ask, is there not a pretty legitimate possibility that the inputs are the way they are because of design? I've pointed out before that there has been some pretty extensive changes to the way the games work in MKX, so why wouldn't they be able to fix it if it was truly a bug?
You don't have to like it (like me, you can find it pretty irritating most of the time), but I think to label it a bug when it's (more than likely) not is a little disingenuous.
Who actually threatened to ban you? Or is this just more hyperbole aimed at starting a row in the hopes of getting people riled up.I also ask again, considering I was threatened with a ban by TYM admin, what rules did I break? I genuinely want to know so I can avoid breaking those rules in the future (and correct them if there is anything in this thread that is against TYM rules). I take that threat extremely seriously, especially considering I'm a paid premium member of this site. If TYM is willing to take my money and then ban me for posting an opinion that a single admin disagrees with, I think other members should know about it before they too spend any money on this site.

And now you're just being ridiculous.Well you were either threatening to ban me or murder me, so I'm choosing to give you the benefit of the doubt.
YooooooooooooooooAnd now you're just being ridiculous.
Deliberately spreading misinformation doesn't help anyone, least of all you.
Ok, then what did you mean? If I misinterpreted "you'll find yourself at the end of it soon", then I do sincerely apologize. I don't think I did, though, considering even members who have your back thought that was crossing a line. And now you're just being ridiculous.
