Injustice 2 First Balance Patch Reactions, Hype and Tears Thread

They made swamp thing trait usable but they didn't do anything about the fact that his up-vine grab input doesn't work properly. Only comes out about 1/4 times.

Grodd and Supergirl changes are perfect.

Firestorm needed changes. At the very least his with his 11 string the second hit should be mid.

Wonder woman changes are probably too much.

Don't like superman changes. They took a really good move and made it practically useless. Would have preferred them making breath -4 on block to stop the stupid block traps he has on characters with slow normals.

Don't like Aquaman changes. Again they took a really good move (mb ftd) and made it uselss. Why would you ever use this move now. Spend a bar for like 100 more dmg? Would have been better to simply lower his combo damage overall than to make a move that was the core of his game worthless.

Don't forget, the previous patches that said it wouldn't affect competitive mode will now affect competitive mode. I have no idea what those were but iirc they weren't anything game changing.

I think aquaman is fine. He basically just got a damage nerf like black adam. He went from 45% to 33% for a bar. His tools are all there still.

Aquaman got hit the hardest for sure, I think he is gonna have a huge fall on the tier list but he won't be bad. We're just used to watching him always in the top 5 that now that he is potentialy a fair character people are freaking out.

Black Adam's changes are pretty laughable, his BNB did 414 damage and they didn't even do the right one so I'm sure he will remain top tier.

Catwoman got a few hits but I love the way they changed her, I think she will still be top 10 probably. She's just not crazy in every area.

Atrocitus got it very easy as well, nothing huge for him.

Batman got away just fine, he is pretty much the same but he is neutral on block instead of +1000 after MB batarangs, a good player will still take advantage around that.

Superman is the same.... still has meh wake-ups, not like he had amazing wake-ups before and got nerfed.

Deadshot is still the same but without the staggers... maybe Deadshot players will realize he has an overhead to compliment his low now, crazy right? and I think he will jump to the top this time around.

Darkseid, Arror, Harley, Green Lantern, Blue Beetle, Firestorm and Scarecrow untouched seems fine, they could've used small changes maybe but I liked it.

Joker unchanged is pretty bad honestly, he will probably be bottom 3 now, once again.

Everyone else's changes are great.

I love this patch honestly.

It's not like he's going to be low tier or anything. Aquaman mains have just been fed with a silver spoon for four years and this shocking revelation that they might actually have to play a character that isn't top 5 is too much to handle.
