Ok I got you and Big Pampering mixed up, my bad.I didn't say he wanted all characters nerfed, so read again.
My point still stands.

So do all moves advance forward? All moves have different properties and most of those forward advancing moves are not crazy fast. Like I said some people want to backdash every time after they blocked a move. If you read that someone is trying to do a forward advancing move you throw a fast move out to blow them up. I am sorry you and dave have to use your brain for once. It's so funny to see people trying to blow up Dave while making completely idiotic statements. Backdash vs a character with decent forward advancing normals and see what happens.
With all characters I meant the characters that doesn't play the style dave wants aka zoning. I was talking about dave after all.Ok I got you and Big Pampering mixed up, my bad.

I guess I should've read your mind. My bad. With all characters I meant the characters that doesn't play the style dave wants aka zoning. I was talking about dave after all.
Yup you're confirmed trash at this game.So do all moves advance forward? All moves have different properties and most of those forward advancing moves are not crazy fast. Michaelangelo vs Fox (I think it was Fox) is a prime example of this. Michaelangelo kept backdashing (whyyy?) and was promptly getting blown up for it.It's so funny to see people trying to blow up Dave while making completely idiotic statements. How about you just learn the game instead of bitching about how every mechanic in the game doesn't work like you want it. Last time I checked you are in no position to say who is good or bad at the game, you aren't really known for being good at this stuff. Backdashes are just different in this game and doesn't cover most options like in some other games. But keep on bitching as much as you want, your salt is very tasty.Yup you're confirmed trash at this game.
The difference is that I *have* learned the game; it's painfully obvious that you haven't based on your comments. That's what happens when you're policing the forums with your scrubby point of view instead of actually bothering to play. How about you just learn the game instead of bitching about how every mechanic in the game doesn't work like you want it. What moves are like below 12 frames and travel enough distance to blow backdashes up? Let's say the opponent(Kung Jin) blocked your move and you are at -3. If you read that Kung jin is going for the long range overhead, you throw out a jab or a quick poke to regain advantage, because you poke is still faster even though you are at -3. If you have even looked at footage of how players like forever king, denzell, foxy etc. play you would have known they also play this way in those situations. Instead you want backdash to cover all options for you without having to think about what to do.The difference is that I *have* learned the game; it's painfully obvious that you haven't based on your comments. Also don't you have to complain about how tom brady didnt shake your hand?
Read my post are these moves faster than 12 frames? From what I have seen these long range moves are often around 15 frames.A lot of moves can blow up backdashes.
Pretty much anyone with a really far advancing string or special move.
Hell, Cyber Kano's b23 can do it if you time it right.
Jax can use f212.
Quan can blow up backdashes with a properly timed b2.
Kotal Kahn can use a few of his strings to do it., this is just off the top of my head.
There are more. They really should increase the invincibility frames if they want backdashes to be useful.
Hell, you can even jump to blow up a backdash if you read it.
You don't even understand the point of backdashes lol. The point is not to protect yourself against punishment, but to escape pressure and punish string gaps. The point that everyone else has been making is that backdashes are useless for that purpose because the recovery on the backdash itself is punished by the next hit of the string. What moves are like below 12 frames and travel enough distance to blow backdashes up? This is exactly why you are not playing the game as it is. When did I say backdashes are for protecting yourself against punishment, if something is punishable you would get punished for it no matter how godlike backdashes are, you are not even making sense. Last time I checked there are no moves that can punish something at -3 fool. Backdashes in THIS game are only for escaping pressure and gaps in strings and not for punishing because it has too much recovery. You are applying the use of backdashes from other games into MKX, which means you are not playing the game. You don't even understand the point of backdashes lol. You further show your ignorance with your Kung Jin scenario. If I'm -3 against Kung Jin (or anywhere near neutral vs him, really), it is absolutely foolish to poke because you're going to eat a divekick into 40%. Seriously, stop posting and learn how the game works.
You literally suggested poking against Kung Jin while you are in negative frames. Just stop; you're embarrassing yourself. This is exactly why you are not playing the game as it is. What is this bullshit that Kung jin is going to divekick every time you are at neutral? If you read a divekick then you are going to block and if it is not the Ex version you punish it for full combo. You really are just showing how you want a certain move to cover multiple options for you without having to think.
Same players. Perhaps you want them to switch mains, as well? And I can count many characters in Top 8s: Raiden, Erron Black, Scorpion, Tanya, D'Vorah, Quan Chi, Kung Lao, Kung Jin, Sonya, Mileena, Kotal Kahn, Johnny Cage, and the list goes on.It's going the same as before. We are seeing all time the same 5 characters in top 8 while some other are not even use in tournament.
So you are basically giving the Kung Jin player a free 50/50 everytime you are at negative a couple frames(unless you are willing to go for risky armor). A jab or pokes prevents the kung jin player from going to his 50/50 every time he blocks your move. You are at negative, but your poke is still faster han kung jins 50/50 and a poke also beats fast high attacks. If the Kung jin player notices you go for the poke in the -3 situation he can try to go for armor, go for his own poke or divekick, which if you block you can punish or are at advantage again depending on the move. You literally suggested poking against Kung Jin while you are in negative frames. Just stop; you're embarrassing yourself.
Kotal ? For little tournament except Alucard (just like Ares in igau). Erron Black would disepear at the same time than Sonicfox. There is no mileena, and no JC at big tournament (DJT dropped him I believe). For the rest, it's not even half of the cast ...Same players. Perhaps you want them to switch mains, as well? Lmao Murk dont be silly.Buff flame fist liu kang.
-Mb parry should lead to combo and have armor on startup but more recovery on whiff
-Low fireball should have a mb version and make it -7 on block
-make mb high fireball a true mid
Dragons fire
-mb dragon kick into bicycle kick should be +4, OR make it a true mid
Universal
-b2 needs to do 10% on hit
-22 needs to pop up but be alot more negative on block (shades of raiden) but keep it as a mid starter
-d1 should be a start up of 8
-b4 should be -8 on block
-f21 needs to be neutral
-f213 should be -10 block
Im sure there is more but I'll be ok with these listed.
I used Kano as an example because I am familiar with him the best. I quit using Kano a couple of weeks ago and use a much better character at the moment. I honestly could not careless whether he gets buffed or not, which is why I have not created a thread pushing for buffs.I think the main problem here is that you want mid tier characters (which are very good characters) to take the places of the original best. You're only thinking about your interests. I think what's best for everyone is that those who want a top tier actually pick it from the original roster, not pick whatever they like and then ask the designers to make that character the best just because they like it.
Imo those are reasonable. What would the problem be?Lmao Murk dont be silly.
SaltFace placed 4th at ECT with Ravenous Mileena, not even her "best" variation. She's not heavily represented, but she's there.Kotal ? For little tournament except Alucard (just like Ares in igau).
