You get that error when using the crack by Reloaded to bypass the Steam file checker.

Back on topic: Boon blatantly referenced PC numbers. Still some hope but yes, today's announcement came off as a bit trollish.

I was more or less at peace with being stranded on PC for MKX for the foreseeable future, but yesterday definitely had my hopes up. This was the worst way they could have teased the ESL thing.

I could see at first not connecting $500,000 with 500,000 sales for the first tweet, but to actually highlight and get cute with a PC comment for, what looks now, to be no reason seems uncalled for. Once people started getting hyped for PC he should have put a stop to it and not fanned the flames. Just say no. He said no Rain. Just say no.

I'll be happy to eat my complaint if there turns out to be more to this, but it sure looks like he was talking $500,000. Until then, not cool Boon. Not cool.

And even less than that would be needed, we are talking about porting the DLC that a bunch of modders could do, not sure about the netcode but with $500 000 at hands it is definitely possible. Seriously, the disrespect has reached sick levels, this just confirmed Ed Boon has issues.

Personally I care about the netcode a lot more than a bunch of new characters and costumes. I'd like to have both but it's a "no netcode - no buy" situation for me.

Sadly, most people will probably just buy it at launch or pre-order, as gamers tend to do when the next shiny thing comes out.

For me, for any WBIE product on PC, I'll purchase off of a grey site to deny the publisher revenue.

Laugh a bit on the fact that they dared to do it, then go play some other games. Until this situation stays NRS and WB are trash in my eyes and I'll avoid all of their games, no matter the platform.

I didn't even like Injustice so it won't be hard for me to pass on that one, should WB risk making PC version of it. For me they first would need to prove they can port a fighter on PC by bringing MKX to parity with consoles.
