At this point, I'm hoping that PC MK gets all the content, netcode and balance patches some day. Although lack of balance patches will totally render this game outdated on PC. I just can't stomach that WB did not find it appropriate to comment on this whole mess, regardless of fan base asking them to finally shed some light on the matter.

No idea why anybody would still think that PC gonna get anything after a total silence / ignore from WB/NRS everywhere for quite long time now.

At this point people should just accept the fact, that WB screwed PC players and move on.

I'm sorry but I won't "move on"... I just can't because I simply find this kind of company behaviour inexcusable. I don't like being screwed with so in the last month I decided to absolutely get rid of Warner from my life, I can't even bear looking at their logo anymore because it reminds me: "yep, those are the guys who fucked me". WB games? Nope. WB movies? Nope. Anything else? Nope. They won't see a fucking cent from me from now on.

If the legal situation would be less shady in the industry these idiots were sitting at court right now instead of selling video games. The saddest part? Things like this show that as a consumer you have absolutely no rights when you buy a video game apart from one: you have the right to remain silent and thieves like WB count on that attitude, in fact that's what they base their business on.

We all agree it was a dick move on WB part. But we as consumer cannot do anything about that beside remembering this and not buying WB stuff anymore. A side from that, yeah it's time to move on.

And as I've said I won't, I don't see why that concept is difficult to get: moving on would mean silence and I don't want to give them that luxury. As for gaming? Sure, I moved on, the day MKXL was announced I uninstalled MKX and haven't played it since and hey, at least I have another excuse next to the terrible port to not buy Arkham Knight.

You missed my point, it was quite obvious i was talking about gaming. And while you are free to bump this thread and post here as much as you wish i don't see a point in doing so but then again - you can, not that it gonna change anything. HF.

With the balance patches that are coming on consoles, the pc edition will be another game, after all... So tomorrow will be the last day that we will be equal members inside MK community. No, I don't see any reason to leave Test Your Might. The community I've been a part of here has mainly been a good one, and if I still need help with a match up I can still ask. I'll just need to specify it's the PC version and people will need to remember what they did prior to the console updates.

I've never been insulted by the console players here for having the PC version, but then again I've never acted in the fashion so many others of the PC community have. In truth, I've seen console players supporting the fact that what WBIE has done is a dick move.

Well we know we're not getting anything tomorrow, as the Steam DB shows no updates still. It is possible something can come down the road, or not.

We'll need to wait and see and for now, we can keep playing the version we have, which is still a solid game (that's what I'll be doing) or we can move on.

Both options are fair game.

I'm really hoping that, even if it's a month later, we at least get the balance patches. I also think they should at least comment, even if there is truly nothing new coming to PC. Just the acknowledgement to put things to rest would be nice.

For sure, I have to admit that inside this forum the console fanboys' pathetic comments, supporting this move were extremely rare. Most of the people here are true MK fans, that's why they still support us, even though they have a different version of the game we all love(and of course I would do the same for them as well).

Personally, I find many topics of this forum very useful, like the ones you said about match ups. On the other hand I still doubt about many aspects of this pc story. Even though we have gone through this discussion in the past, according to the articles and posts I read from the Internet, I just can't leave NRS out of this, until WB makes a public statement taking full responsibility. I don't say that to begin a new debate about this issue, but to express that is really hard for me to support NRS in any way from now on when I have doubts about their exact role in this whole story. But again that's just my personal opinion...

in Germany where mk games was banned it was even worse.

MK9 released on x box , people bought it and coudnt download the dlc because it was not avalible in your country !!!! even if it is allowed in germany to import games
400 euro x box 60 euro for the game
then they bought the komplete Edition for pc to get the content. another 60 Dollar
After that disaster people bought mkx for pc for 60 euros to be sure they get dlc content, if the game get banned ,to not waste money again.
Ed boon told pc will be as good as console, but it run like an early access game and you needed to pimp your grafic card for 300 euros and buy a controller for 60 euros. the devs were too stupid to recognize that not all pc Players have the same Hardware and you coudnt see if your opponents fps was ok. so even if the ping was perfect it lagged. before christmas they fixed that issiue

then they tell us pc not get dlc this time!!! the total contrary how it was handeled the last time. so we need to buy a x box again + the game with all dlcs ,because pc users who already own the game and dlc´s not get it for free.

thats how you do customer Support ? they not even hired a community manager and keep quiet.

I never expected from an aa publisher to drop support of a game which is sold 500k times before it is even fisnished (the netcode) to get the Players back
500k buyers and 1000 players show it all !! that means people skipped the game till it get better and wont lag anymore, they got used to it after the years, too many huge game publisher who force the devs to put out games every year , if they are finished or not , but a drop of support of such a new game is a shame for nrs and wb Company and a effrontery on a total new Level. at least for europeans , that must be the american way of perverted kapitalism instead of free merket economy

i would have bought mkx over kassastan vpn for 10 Dollar if i would have known that ... i wanted to support wb and nrs. But not everything is bad what they have done , at least mkx was a good game and the fsk in germany now find games like mkx not brutal anymore , but funny.

This site is useful for those of us who still play MK 1,2,3 and MK9, so yeah I'll be around, maybe not that often though.

Since Dead Pool coolness has been reminded to all of us, I think I'll go back to playing Marvel Heroes 2016. Heard this game is far more better now, from what it was in previous year.

NetherRealm Studios is owned by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment. If you buy something made by NRS, you are supporting WBIE, so to no longer support WBIE you need to not purchase anything made by NRS, RockSteady, Monolith, the LEGO games, etc.

It'll be useful for those who play Mortal Kombat X on PC as well. Just because the console versions have been upgraded does not mean said players will magically forget what they've been doing for the past 5.5 months.

The difference is you'll need to clarify when asking stuff that you're on the PC version which does not have 1.12.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but what is the possibility of getting a class action going to refund everyone who bought the game on PC? Not only for lack of KP2, but just the hideous poorly supported product in general.

Sorry to burst your bubble but that topic was discussed already many times. There is no basis for class action. WB didn't brake any of Steam rules. This matter is pretty much closed as is MK X on PC.

So that eccentric poster on the Steam board, "Shredder," claims to have gotten an email from WBIE Support here.

Assuming he's not trolling and the email is legit, then it is an official statement about no more development support for the PC version.

Again, assuming this is legit, I don't see why WBIE can't just issue a public statement about it.

It isn't the same, though.. like, at all. In practicality, PC online experience is horrendous compared to console counterparts simply because of player distribution. That's my point. You can't really say PC mkx is in a 'good place,' when it's sitting on 565 avg players. And this is while it's still not outdated yet! In a week's time, it'll be obsolete, and there's no way player numbers will do anything but dwindle.

And no I can't agree with that as a valid answer. If you're talking about offline play, and particularly in terms of competition, you cannot "learn as you play." I'm not gonna go get knocked out of pools because "I was just learning the MU as I played xD." You can't really say that you'll have enough time for casuals before that to get the necessary MU knowledge, because firstly, MUs take time to learn properly, and secondly, it's not guaranteed you'll have free access to something you don't own.

As a sidenote, your statement is also a bit silly given that you mention how most people online are gimmicky and you can figure out the general things, which.. is outright not correct, because we're talking about mkx PC so new chars+online does not go together in the first place.

As for the last part, no idea what you're talking about, but sure, from what you're saying, KP2 chars should be banned if they wanted to maintain consistency in their ruleset.

If u play someone on pc with a good connection and has a good pc the experience is the same as ps4/xbone pre xl patch. I own all three so I know
